I liked this a lot.
I'll not pretending.... I spend 300H on it, really good active puzzle game, really god humor

One of the most misunderstood games in my opinion, mostly because of its difficulty and confusing controls. I'd say the latter is kind of true, specially using a controller, so I'd recommend using mouse and keyboard, it just takes a couple of tries to get used to it. In regards to it's difficulty, I think most reviewers did not really understand the game's core ideas (which is completely understandable, given the low priority they must have given to this game and the time frame they usually have to play the game and review it). I don't exactly remember my first few runs, but I remember the game being obscure and difficult. Yet I got hooked and 7 years later I still find myself coming back to it from time to time. Once you understand the core concepts, the game clicks and it becomes a puzzle for you to solve, you just gotta understand which pieces you need and what you might be missing. It is mostly a puzzle game stressed as an action rogue-like, and your best bet at beating it is learning to establish priorities based on amount of enemies per lane and their proximity to your heroes. once you have that priority in mind you just devise a plan how to best use your characters to get rid of the enemies according to that priority. If this sounds interesting and you are willing to put some effort, give it a try. Besides that, the game has a really interesting cartoony art style which I love but can be dividing. On the other hand, it is true that sometimes normal battles become a bit tedious, and if you are unlucky on a given run you might be making a certain tool for a specific problem (mostly invisible enemies), but this problem is rather rare. All in all, I think this is a great game that wasn't helped at all by how reviews work or it's steep learning curve, 8.5/10.
i might just SUCK at this game but i've actually never beat the first map (if there are multiples i wouldnt know) but it is fun and entertaining. again, wish i didnt suck but what can u do...
