I want to thank the developer for making this game. THANK YOU! I'm a big fan of Super Hang-On (or Hang-On)… and I always wanted a modern day equivalent of those games but with the same art style of the Arcade Classics (Or SEGA Genesis) and that's what this game is... I love it. The driving physics in this game is amazing... It would make Yu Suzuki proud. It's exactly how it should be... it looks like the developer(s) took most of their time developing the driving and it shows. This game has a lot to live up to... Hang-On is a legendary series. It was one of those games that took gaming to the next level. It was a technological marvel for gaming at the time. Yu Suzuki was always taking it to the next level... Hang-On was one of those revolutionary games. I usually don't like to support games this Early in development... the game doesn't have much to offer at all right now. But I believe in this project and want it to succeed. It's also very cheap and I don't mind putting up the money. So far, I LOVE what they've done... it looks like the beginning of a great Super Hang-On type game. I'm going to support the developer and hope it turns out to be something like; or even better than Super Hang-On on the Genesis. The game needs a few things: 1. Needs music inspired by Chikako Kamatani's tracks from Super Hang-On 2. Needs better AI. Right now most of the riders wear the same colors and they go way faster than you do. 3. Needs a Championship Mode. Would be nice to have a Story Mode as well. 4. It would be nice if there was an actual Garage and Home to go back to set up races and communicate with your engineers and rivals. I always thought Super Hang-On can go a little PC-98 if it wanted to and it would be great. 5. Would be nice to have rivals communicate with you before and after the race. With Anime style Portraits with RPG text bubbles like in Super Hang-On for the Genesis. I played some of it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_obK4Gk604&t=1637s
Super fun and highly addictive gameplay! Easy to learn and hard to master just the way I like my arcade racers! Highly recommended!
well since sega has allowed classics in their catalogue to lay dormant, glad to see small developers are picking up the slack, hang on vibes 100%, thoroughly enjoying this. Hoping for online leaderboards when complete. Keep up the great work!
Brilliant concept and throwback to classic 90s racers; the game is technically solid and very well done. For the sake of $5, you can help the single developer by supporting the project so that more of his development goals and ideas/future projects can become a reality. Great work ^5
Its a really good motorbike game. Nails the arcade fun, flow and rush of those coin popping, mullet shaking arcade favourites, and the control balance feels sublime and intuitive via controller. The graphics are simple but also beautiful, with deep rich tones. Varied and fitting. Ive played more of the demo than the EA, but everything I tried in the purchased version was excellent. So far, so great. Oh, and the music's ace too
edit: saw the AI disclosure, that explains the painful sound balance. Refunding. I love this game but... and this speaks volumes that I haven't just straight up refunded it BUT The sound balance is terrible. If you crash, prepare your ears because they will bleed. Truly, if the core loop wasn't so good I swear to god I would be turbo refunding this game. ALSO, when you first install the game the volume is at MAX. MAAAAX!!!!!! like the trailer really.
Excellent ce jeux me rappel les belles années ( Super hang'on, Outrun, etc )
A nice retro arcade racer. The gameplay itself, the controls, the graphics, and the soundtrack are all really well done. It just feels good. Another great feature: You can adjust the difficulty by giving yourself more time at the checkpoints. The content is still very limited at the moment, and the final scope doesn't seem much larger. But since the goal is to perfect the tracks, I suppose that's part of the deal; still, I'm curious to see just how extensive the announced championship mode will be.
Cracking game. Pure arcade fun. If you ever played the old Sega Hang On games and liked them, you'll enjoy this to the fullest. Great sense of speed, beautiful retro graphics and very pleasant soundtrack. Lots of settings to fiddle with and customize your experience, including longer time limits to adjust the difficulty. Runs great on the SteamDeck. The game is practically free to get at this price.
Great Start! I know the developer from Youtube for a long time, he will not disappoint.
