Take The Shape of Evil as Michael Myers or save your neighbors as a Hero of Haddonfield in Halloween, the ultimate asymmetrical horror sandbox.
As Michael, players wear the mask, become the Boogeyman, and stalk innocent residents with relentless obsession. Utilizing a nightmarish array of abilities, Michael leverages shadows and stealth to satisfy his bloodthirst. This doesn’t mean Haddonfield is going down without a fight. Frightened townsfolk will call the local authorities and even fight back when threatened, incentivizing Michael to avoid detection. And for the first time ever, fans of the transformative original film will have the option to witness the haunting narrative events surrounding "The Night He Came Home" through the eyes of Michael Myers in a standalone singleplayer story mode.
As a Hero of Haddonfield, it’s your job to alert the residents of Haddonfield to the impending evil and help them escape before falling victim to Michael’s unyielding pursuit. In dynamic and ever-changing 1v4 asymmetrical multiplayer matches, hero players must arm themselves with everyday household items, weapons, and knowledge to combat an unpredictable and unkillable enemy. Convincing townsfolk and contacting the police will lead to increasingly powerful and thorough neighborhood patrols. To even the odds, you can command and equip NPCs with weapons to outsmart or even overpower The Shape, providing precious windows for escape.
This immersive horror sandbox is powered by Unreal Engine 5 to deliver engaging and dynamic gameplay systems, life-like NPCs, hauntingly realistic visuals, cinema-quality lighting, and endless scares for you and your friends. Asymmetrical horror comes home in Halloween.

Some people hate it, some people love it and i love it i dont give an f second opinions buy it if you dont like it refund it <3
Bad but so bad it's addicting
Honestly don't see why people are hating on a early access game. Bugs are bound to happen, It will get polished and fixed when the game fully releases. I haven't experienced a issue with the game so far, not a single bug. The game is kind of difficult if your playing as Myers so i honestly think that's what's turning people away. The combat feels off and strange putting at first but it gets better the more you learn it. Don't see people putting in the time to understand that. The big "Hate on every game that comes out" trend is just getting old. Its not a bad game in any sense its actually really fun to play. If you are someone who played the F13 game and loved it you will diffidently love this game to. I had a similar take when i first hopped in a game, I really just didn't understand how to play Myers at first. After putting in like 15 hours into the game i can honestly say its not a bad game. Myers is fun to play, The Survivors are fun to play. Definitely play the story mode first it really helps launch you into how to play Myers and some of his key features. This game will for sure have a active fan base that loves the Halloween films once the people who are here to meat ride the game for content are gone. Overall I would give the game a 7/10. until the full release it will probably go up

Gameplay is fun and very similar to FT13 but the optimization on this game is so bad to a level I have never seen before if they can fix that and some of the bugs I can see this game being received pretty well
best michael myers game ever

peak
This game was something I stumbled upon and thought it would be a gate way to relieve the good old days of Friday the 13th, but I was sadly disappointed. I was able to play and complete all the way to chapter 5 of the story but I had to restart my game 3 different times on that 2 hour run because for what ever reason it kept "shutting down." Granted I did understand this is early access upon purchase but that is the thing, "EARLY ACCESS" should not be functioning like a "Beta" or "Test" version. I'm sad to say but I will unforgettably have to refund and advice others tempting to purchase this game to look at the content and reviews being produce to get a better understanding of whether or not this is worth your hard earned money. I do hope to see improvement in the future because I am a fan of this genre of games and want to see them succeed.
i love this game! yes it has its kinks but nothing that cant be fixed! nothing game breaking for me runs great and i have a i7 and a 3060 so idk what other people are complaing about??
I am enjoying the game in all honesty. Pretty much what I expected. Better gameplay loop than DBD as well. Animations and NPC's tend to be glitchy but they can work that out as long as we don't try to kill the game.
