love the game . great job devs

This game scratches an itch that I haven't gotten since F13 the game. There are things that aren't perfect, but I'm certain Illfonic work on balancing and other things as time goes on!
So many people think this is the final product and the game won't be fixed and this is the worst game ever. I personally don't see it. I paid for early access... I'll have early access... I'll eat the bugs and I'll enjoy it because it's what I paid for. The game does need fixing and I'll be the first to admit it. at the time of writing this game has horrible crossplay issues and I fear that's the only major thing dragging it down for me. Invisible Michael is also an issue but if you just run... it's not that major. On the other hand, I really love this game and it genuinely has been very very fun to play even with randoms and all the jank!! I super recommend it despite all of it's bugs!!! Thank you illfoniccc I lovee youuu<3
if you're having super serious issues with performance (i am even on my beefy system), try turning down "Global Illumination Quality", and "Reflection Quality" to low or medium in the settings. this boosted my frame rate considerably i was getting 23 FPS and just changing those settings boosted me to 64 FPS.
buggy mess, you need to make NPC escape to win games but the AI is just so messy, lots of bugs , could have been an easy slam dunk if they just re made friday the 13th with halloween skins but they had to include NPC and other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. i regret pre ordering, will not again with this company
"Death has come to your little town, Sheriff."
The Good Rock Solid Stability: I played for 17 hours straight without a single crash. Streamer-Friendly: The built-in streamer mode is perfect for avoiding copyright strikes on Twitch. The fan service moments (like civilians running around in their underwear) make for hilarious content when chat gets to admire some cheeks for points during a Myers kill. Low Salt Gameplay: Myers easily wipes out the AI civilians, which satisfies the killer power-fantasy even if the player-controlled survivors manage to escape. It keeps the match fun for everyone. Great Graphics: The visuals are fantastic and completely nail the atmosphere. The Quirks & Bugs Physics Glitches: Myers' teleport shade ability clips with vehicles, letting you literally push the police wagon around the map. I also had a visual bug where the lawn dart and knife combined into one weapon. Accidental Flexing: A glitch let me equip the locked red glowing ember Myers skin without completing any challenges. Going into lobbies and getting called a hacker (and being told to shower) was hilarious. There are also shadow mines that I got to use without being the proper level that I still have no clue what they even do exactly. The game leaves leftover easy anti cheat installer files in the root directory of your drive outside of the Steam folder where they belong you can safely delete them (EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe, vc_redist.x64.exe) The Bad Hardware Heavy: It hits the hardware hard. My i9-14900K sat at 78-80°C the whole time, with the GPU at 71°C pulling 13.4GB of VRAM and 30GB of system RAM. It maintained a playable 60 FPS, but it is extremely demanding I am looking forward to testing this game out when Novalake drops next year. Survivor Loops: Similar to the most frustrating chases in Dead by Daylight, some survivors feel impossible to catch. Between potential infinite stamina glitches and item abuse, chases often turn into: grab, get stabbed, they run away, grab, get stabbed, and they run away, forever repeat. Clunky Ranged Combat: Throwing weapons are practically useless against fast survivors unless they are standing completely still and not looking. Short Single-Player: The story mode is extremely brief and heavily restricted by invisible walls guiding you exactly where to go. DLC map Ideas Since the franchise is limited, future content will likely rely on cosmetics and with preferably more emphasis put on maps. A massive 5-story hospital map would be a perfect addition. Laurie's Fortified Compound: Based on the 2018 movie, this would be a highly defensive map. It could feature the woodland perimeter, heavy security gates, and the secret basement trapdoor system, offering survivors unique ways to hide or trap the killer. Densely wooded campground with tents and bushes to hide in as well as very thick fog to obscure vision to help survivors hide better.

I was really looking forward to this game as a big fan of Friday the 13th and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but ultimately when I started playing problems arose first with the terrible optimization of the game this is by far one of the worst optimized games I've played so far when I first played I was getting around 29 fps which is just unacceptable for this type of game and still after tweaking the settings only getting around 80fps is still less than stellar for the type of GPU that I have, second the game left me more to be desired playing the game I didn't really know what the goal was of this game and while I know over time this will become less of an issue it still impacted my impression of the game unlike Texas and Friday then there's was the issue of cross play in this game doesn't work properly I couldn't cross play with my friends at all and while there currently trying to fix this issue it shouldn't have been one in the first place and lastly me personally I just didn't find this game that exciting or fun but maybe I just need to play more of this game and my opinion might change but for now I cant recommended this game to anyone.
