Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

if you want a game that feels new and fun half sword is it it is a amazing game down to the shop and to the juicy combat you will enjoy it
Willie fillet is very taysty
Very fun, it starts off as a goofy fighting game and as you get good it becomes more and more calculated and thought out. The only bad thing I have to say is the thrusting mechanic isn't great.
the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CHAIN MAIL OF DOOOOMMMMMMMMM for context it crashed me 9 times
nice game, a bit laggy, but with the recent optimizations, it got a lot better, reccomend
This game gets medieval combat right like no other. With the new, more frequent updates it keeps feeling fresh and just really scratches that itch of a good figthing game the graphics are very nice but could be optimized a little more, there are some visual bugs and the shop menus can be a little clunky from time to time, but overall the gameplay just beats the criticism. i highly recommend this is if you are interested in medieval combat in any shape or form.
this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome but am i the only one who wishes for some setting to make the game run better or just something that lowers the graphics or optimizes it better for potato pcs because this game is fun but very laggy for low end computers
Recent updates have been large and frequent with very clear improvements. I've enjoyed this game since the demo and I'm more hopeful than ever that this will develop into a full release. That being said, I do have one very large gripe. Don't try to fix the coffin in the Abyss. Get rid of it entirely. I have no idea who decided it was vital to my experience, but they are wrong. It has never added anything to the experience and has only ever killed a run. Just abandon that idea, please.
This is my new favourite game
