Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

Wish to see more Ragamuffins!
Was super excited to finally pick this up after having played the demo for years since it's finally optimized enough to be playable. Unfortunately the physics have gotten comically ridiculous, and I've had several times where either my opponent or I take an awkward step and break a leg or swing a little too hard and break an arm. Not really fun to play when you constantly risk losing progression by just walking towards your opponent.
the game is overall fun but definetly needs some work with the damage caused by hits and other combat glitches
I really love the gameplay loop for this game, the only thing I would like to see is facing the lord champion in the abyss. Once you get to the late game and are grinding for the baron set you just have a crazy amount of money. Even if I somehow die and have to face the 25+ zombies its so easy, I would really like to see a challenge when it comes to the abyss. Maybe extra rewards for conquering the abyss? Also no baron shoes??? Anyway beautiful damn game, I always come back to it even having done everything.
its peak cant wait for the new updates
:)
Could use some more optimization since the game frequently crashes but dang is it fun. Unleashes my instinctual human behavior to stab other males with pointy sharp sticks.
ALL GOD GAME
