Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

Absolutely fantastic game. Genuinely unique gameplay with a fairly fun progression mode as it stands right now. Battles have personality, the weapons can be used in so, so many different ways that gives you complete freedom over how YOU want to play the game. Also you can larp as a knight and slaughter hordes of peasants, for better or for worse. My only real gripe is the optimization. I cannot finish a run as the game stands. I average 20-30fps per map, the game is perfectly playable at this fps. However, the Lord Tourney/Baron fight as well as the Slums map are COMPLETELY UNPLAYABLE on the lowest possible graphics setting, averaging 5-10 fps on each. Overall an amazing game with a bright future... if they can optimize it so that you don't need a NASA Supercomputer to get 60 fps above medium graphics. PC Specs attached below.

I put maybe 100 hours in the demo for this game. I can't stresds how much of a DEstresser this game is. Its janky, but you find an incredible skill ceiling in the jank. I always have time for a few rounds, and its always a good time.
Gameplay is fun but it keeps crashing. Sometimes solid looking hits to the enemies helmet make it seem you just hit them with a pillow and sometimes slightly glancing them knocks them fully out. Bit wack but fun. Pay off the Seer you don't want to face 400 zombies in the abyss. Constant grab and bites makes it really unfun to fight them even if you have the armor to block them out, They get to close to properly swing and swarm you. If they do manage to somehow cripple your arm or your leg its basically joever. All in all 8/10 game, great weapon physics, satisfying bonks and insane lag if more than 3 willies are on screen, god forbid one of them starts to bleed and the game turns into a powerpoint.
god game
