Become the champion of the Arena by besting your opponents in various brawls and tournaments. Prepare for an unparalleled combat experience where your every move matters. All animations and maneuvers are meticulously designed with a strong foundation in realism.
Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

I've been a big fan of this game sense the beta its a very good game only problem that the devs are fixing is the optimizations
At its current absurdly high price and its issues, i cannot recommend this game to anyone unfortunately, although i did have my fair share of fun in the 19 hours i played, i found the game to be largely unplayable due to immense amounts of jank (weapon handling being extremely weird), performance issues (with maps this small and gore this basic, this is pretty much entirely unacceptable), relentless crashes - Ive had more than like 10 crashes which always stem from me dismembering someone. If you have a mind of steel and you know you wont get frustrated easily, then buy this game, you can get some fun out of it. And i wish the best to the developers to actually make it a good experience, because this does seem like a game that could become amazing.
Not horrible, far from great. I don't see the purpose of being able to stand back up when 99% of the time when you need to it doesn't work. Why are we still so fragile in comparison to enemies??? An enemy bumps into you he mows you down, you bump into him your nose explodes and you comatose. Performance IS BETTER, thank god, so there is still a glimpse of hope. But seriously come the ♥♥♥♥ on and stop giving the enemies two legs up on us while amputating ours. Also those zombies ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck. Edit: Don't chop up bodies, you'll crash. Also don't play with too many enemies or mercenaries, you'll crash. Don't win the fight-you'll crash.
dont know how they did it but this is simultaneously the best and worst game i've ever played
very good game
zombies in the abyss are overpowered and just straight up ignore shields, shields have killed me more times than i can count. for being out for nearly half a year the sheer amount of bugs and overpowered npcs is ridiculous
is okay
