Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

The Gameplay where you control the arms. Also looking forward to the finish version I've finish baron class twice without realizing that's the end of the game for now HAHAHAHHA
Fatal error here, fatal error there, everything, everywhere. You have a good run in the Abyss after a thousand times of dying because you tripped ONCE and the npc's won't let you get up again, you feel that this time you'll have a good run, then you get a fatal error. Also, (specifically in the Abyss) when you trip ONCE, you will not get up again, if there is 1 enemy you have a 1/4 chance to get back up again, at 2 you are instantly softlocked and need to reload because they just constantly pound you so you cant get up, they dont even kill you they just stand on you and hit the ground beside you like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots. Also after the latest update the Amount of Loot in the Abyss is nearly 0, out of 10 crates there is something usefull in MAYBE 2, and in the other 8 there is sometimes a jug and most other times NOTHING! Also your character has a stroke every time he picks something up, with weapons its ok but with everything else you need to press the pickup button MULTIPLE TIMES so that he maybe picks it up. Dont get me wrong this game CAN be fun, a lot actually, I have like 80 hours in the game right now but it's so DAMN unfinished, this kind of stuff is just getting so damn annoying, I just feel like its. . . . .FATAL ERROR
The devs did an amazing job improving the game since january, it's now so much fun GG
This is my first ever game review: I had 233 souls to abolish and died Jokingly went into the Abyss as a farewell to my character Spent the next hour and a half staring the Abyss Made it to the end hobbling to the finish line 10/10 most memorable moment from my gaming history
game's concept is good although armor and weapon collision needs checking, got stabbed through plate, the halberk and shirt on low frames on trio fights
Once the game is done being tinkered with it will be amazing, but as of now, one update makes the game amazing, then they come along with a single balancing update that actually make combat completely NPC sided. My character has just dropped dead mid walk, and Baron armor is being cut through not even at the joints. Don't get me started on Abyss because it was playable a week ago, and now the zombies are grabbing at me and insta breaking my bones so i cant fight, even the slightest bit of damage taken in any mode will basically shut my fighting abilities down and force a loss. No clue what was done during the "Balancing" patch, but the game was taken from a playable state again, so I'm gonna go back to the demo until they update again and make it playable for a week or so.
It is fun but it can be pretty hard it is a good game if you like challenges.
Half Sword is an excellent game! I think co-op is amazing and can't wait for full optimizations. and possibly multiplayer?
this game good
Fun game. Like sword fighting a lot and it's just the right amount of goofy and fun for me.
