About

Half Sword is an immersive, physics-based medieval combat simulator that offers players a unique experience of becoming a commoner-turned-knight, fighting brutal tournaments in 15th-century Europe. With innovative gameplay mechanics, you can wield your weapon with precision using your mouse, feeling the intensity of each clash as you ascend the ranks to face formidable opponents.
Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of history with our meticulously crafted collection of historically accurate arms and armor. Experience the diverse and vibrant array of armor from history, offering players an authentic glimpse into the past.

Become the champion of the Arena by besting your opponents in various brawls and tournaments. Prepare for an unparalleled combat experience where your every move matters. All animations and maneuvers are meticulously designed with a strong foundation in realism.
Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

Generally the game is really fun and it runs a lot better than it did when it began. I would say the only bad part of the game is The Abyss, it is utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and I wish it simply was not a mechanic. The zombies grab immediately and just bite your fingers off, and then you die anyway. The combat is fun, occasionally an item is broken but its not too bad. (Pavise as of Aug25th 2026 breaks your leg occasionally on loading into the match.) Fun game, remove abyss because its so ass.
This game really gives you freedom. If you want to go bear fists you can, if you want to bludgen people to death with helmets. This is also because of the weapon manurfacturing! I find the strength training a cool thing! It also makes you feel like you are making progress. When you kill people and take their better armour and weapons it gives you a sense of progress! Anyway: Combat: 8/10 Ui: 8/10 (Can be a lot better but very good as it is) Graphics: 7/10 (seen better but still very good) Story: 10/10 (Perfect for the game, not long at all or complicated) But there is an issue Sometimes ♥♥♥♥ just breaks.
Pick a card Any card Step intooOooOooOoO the yard Hit his head Make him beg Crack his skull Like a rotten egg Push his face Into the mud Bathe your blade In the bastard's blood! Deal him pain Sever a vain Drive a spike Through his hedgeborn brain Catch a blow To the head When was the last time You really bled? Show me your dance of death Till they take their dying breath I want to hear screams of pain Remember: their loss Is your gain Claw your way to the top Let their corpses be your crop Make them beg Make them bleed I shall give you What you need Riches, Power, Love of the crowd... Come and make your Dada proud!
зря відав гроші
it crashes often even on low graphics but they clearly know this and progression mode will save upon crashing so thats my only complaint
this game is so damn fun, it has the power to be either incredibly goofy or hella epic, the controls are a little wacky to get around but once you figure everything out you become an absolute master, for me this beats so many games released today simply because its not afraid to be what it is. 10/10 and 15/10 when it has online matchmaking but to be fair it is tough to work with such physics in an online game so im not actually sure if online will come out but regardless ya gotta play it!!!
