Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of history with our meticulously crafted collection of historically accurate arms and armor. Experience the diverse and vibrant array of armor from history, offering players an authentic glimpse into the past.

Become the champion of the Arena by besting your opponents in various brawls and tournaments. Prepare for an unparalleled combat experience where your every move matters. All animations and maneuvers are meticulously designed with a strong foundation in realism.
Your control over weapons is genuine, as we have crafted a combat system based on the expertise and feedback of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) practitioners and sword fencers. Through this dynamic system, players can immerse themselves in the intricacies of swordplay and learn the art of the game's combat mechanics.
Survive bloody battles to gain renown and claim wealth to buy new equipment or forge your own armor and weapons tailored to your combat style. Feeling confident? Bet on your success to potentially boost your earnings and further your progress.

Every story needs an end, and in Half Sword, it often means losing your head - quite literally. As this is a simulation game, death is final…
Be Warned: Half Sword is an extremely violent and gory game. I mean… we do have a Chief Blood Officer. Witness skull-crushing blows, limb decapitations, and gruesome displays of entrails and bloodshed, all intricately tied to the weapon and armor choices of both you and your opponents.

I highly recommend this game this game is very fun to play and the mechanics are great.
Fun but challenging sandbox fighting game.
This is my #3 game of all time
This game is a sophisticated masterpiece. • Every function, piece of sound design, and hitbox is amazing. I've nearly NEVER felt wronged by the game. • You can listen to music with the game without hinderance to your performance. • you can adjust difficulties if you find the game too hard. • The backgrounds setting is perfect for if you want to change playstyles. • The feedback of the sounds is amazing, even clashing swords feels perfect. • When you stab an enemy or strike them with the weapon you can tell without even looking at the enemy by the change of your speed, the resistance of the blade, and the rest. You could even tell if you hit the enemy without sound! • Getting into a ♥♥♥♥♥ in armour is very difficult, but it's worth when you get it done. • Every single weapon (even if some become useless at later ranks at times) feels viable. For a while before I restarted for a challenge run I had a 10 kilo great sword, and it worked perfect against my enemies somehow! • The insurance system is amazing, and makes you feel at fault if you lose your gear, not the game. • The sound design is recognizable, and you could tell what's happening just by the noises. • The cutting and physics feel so amazing, when an enemy leans into a strike onto my blade and goes into halves and nothing more it just feels so satisfying. • The music is epic and leans into the feeling of battle the whole game provides. • The complex customization and weight systems and quirks in armours and weapons makes every loadout you have so much more personal to yourself. I love the character customization stature, it lets you decide how you'd like to play easily. • The errands are really nice, and never made me rage. (Unless it's a drunk guy shanking me in the head like a crazy guy who owns ten rats and spends the whole day talking to them like humans in his house made of nothing but white and psychedelic colours and has rabies.) But now we get to the part where this game loses a quarter of its 10/10 rating... • The save your soul / Vengeful Soul sections SUCK. It's so infuriating getting attacked by twenty super soldier zombies with full armour that can't die to blunt damage OR die when you stab them in the chest or anything like it. (You need to hit a bloody headshot to kill them most of the time, and it makes me want to eat my neighbour's hamster out of pure malice and hateful hubris for the world.) They CONSTANTLY knock you down and crowd around you, never letting you breathe, and dear god when you run away let me tell you... You'll turn around and go from 2 of them to 5 in about a minute or less of running. When you reach a fully armoured soul you're just destined to die in the next ten seconds OR be pinned to the ground forever. Pray to god that one of them has a blunt weapon, and if one doesn't then just mash h and run into them all. • When an enemy taunts while you're down it's SO annoying. It wants to make me set someone's house on fire, (This is a joke for legal reasons.) kick the next ten puppies I see, and then run off of a bridge like a demented screaming sock puppet with gummy snakes for arms. (Hyperbolic.) If they taunt you when both parties are up and fighting it's actually quite cool, and changes the way you play and think. • I HATE how the enemies still attack you when you're knocked down, I know it's accurate. But what's even the point of keeping you up? It's just giving you a higher chance of dying while you give up. • You lose quite a little bit of customization from man at arms rank and higher. • The game crashes sometimes. ULTIMATE RATING: 8/10 TLDR: ooga booga good game How many rats would you need to throw at a 25 year old man strapped to an average wooden table, scaling in at average for the time height at him before he was knocked out? (Complete blank slate human with no previous injuries or conditions.)
