Playing as Alyx Vance, you are humanity’s only chance for survival. The Combine’s control of the planet since the Black Mesa incident has only strengthened as they corral the remaining population in cities. Among them are some of Earth’s greatest scientists: you and your father, Dr. Eli Vance.
As founders of a fledgling resistance, you’ve continued your clandestine scientific activity—performing critical research, and building invaluable tools for the few humans brave enough to defy the Combine.
Every day, you learn more about your enemy, and every day you work toward finding a weakness.

Valve’s return to the Half-Life universe that started it all was built from the ground up for virtual reality. VR was built to enable the gameplay that sits at the heart of Half-Life.
Immerse yourself in deep environmental interactions, puzzle solving, world exploration, and visceral combat.
Lean to aim around a broken wall and under a Barnacle to make an impossible shot. Rummage through shelves to find a healing syringe and some shotgun shells. Manipulate tools to hack alien interfaces. Toss a bottle through a window to distract an enemy. Rip a Headcrab off your face and throw it out the window.
COMMUNITY-BUILT ENVIRONMENTS
A set of Source 2 tools for building new levels is included with the game, enabling any player to build and contribute new environments for the community to enjoy through Half-Life: Alyx's Steam Workshop. Hammer, Valve’s level authoring tool, has been updated with all of the game's virtual reality gameplay tools and components.

Por 6 anos eu sonhava em ter um pc e um VR pra jogar Alyx, finalmente terminei o jogo e posso dizer que valeu a pena a espera. Até o presente momento que escrevo essa análise, não existe nenhum jogo de VR que chegue aos pés desse. [b]GABE, CADÊ MEU HALF-LIFE 3?[/b]

На моём ПК иногда крашится на средних настройках.. видимо 8гб видеопамяти - маловато, мб дело в шлеме oculus 3

Гейб развёл меня на покупку vr ради этого, и теперь после прохождения этого шедевра, только и остаётся что играть в фурри/хентай/мод на vr для обычных старых игр.
//Сразу оговорюсь. Играю на Quest 3S через ALVR по link-кабелю c повышенным разрешением 1.2x в 90 гц. Никому не рекомендую играть через связку oculus link(родное по для шлема)+steam vr - в такой связке комп сильнее нагружается, в частности видеокарта - она загружена всегда под 100 % вне зависимости от разрешения и настроек графики. А загружена видюха из-за работы двух окружении которые вместе съедают около 30-40 процентов запаса мощности видюхи и около 4 гб видеопамяти.
Рекомендую играть в случае проводного подключения через alvr, по беспроводу через steam link.//
Качественно сделанная игра.
Плюсы:
- Хорошо продуманные механики. Они конечно были взяты из других vr-проектов, но кое-что это игра привнесла и новое, к примеру можно прятать гранаты или шприцы в перчатки.
- Графика. Какой бы пресет не стоял бы, она выглядит отлично. Также могу отметить что очень хорошо реализована рирпроекция кадров этой игре - в случае дропа фпс это не ощущается, при чём даже если играть на 72 Гц.
- Детализация. Очень хорошо сделаны локации и внутренние интерьеры. Практически можно взаимодействовать с каждым предметом который найдёшь в игре.
Минусы:
- Нет возможности брать оружие в две руки, в плане в одной держать пистолет, а в другой автоматическое орудие.
- Нету настроек затенения на периферии. Без этой настройки по началу сильно укачивало в игре.
- Нет возможности поиграть через VD XR, игра плотно задействует библиотеки steam и steam vr.
