Good game
An oldie but goodie. Retro graphics but the gameplay mechanics are solid. Worth a playthrough!
Pretty decent game with tactical combat and strategic priority of base/fleet construction. Somewhat lacking descriptions of skills though

Halcyon 6 is a neat little indie game. The pixel graphics and music are great. The writing is deliberately cheesy, but definitely fun. The mechanics look deep but feel shallow when you actually play, which is one draw-back. Even so, it's a fun little romp, and a good deal even at the full price of $15.
5/10
The game is straightforward to play and has epic and funny story. It is not very deep but it is quite balanced. Mostly it is RPG turn-based fights with clear and balanced mechanics. They have much RNG by design. There is a relatively small amount of empire building RTS to spice it up. I would call it 4X but once you build the empire in the first part of the game only researches and ship building remains of 4X. Overall it is quite nice game if you are not a very demanding player. Especially nice for a Kickstarter-backed game.
Fun!
