About
Welcome Initiate.
Your job is simple. Destroy cities. Harvest chaos. Summon an incomprehensible cosmic entity to swallow all of existence and end everything as we know it. We operate remotely, so you're working from home. It's less of a policy and more of a structural integrity issue. Point your mouse at buildings and reduce them to rubble. You'll pick it up fast.
Every demolished structure is another bite-sized offering for the Great Devourer we call Dad. Once the buffet's big enough, he'll show up and handle the rest. Some people call that cosmic horror. We call it space magic. Same thing, better branding. Get to work.
Wield unimaginable cosmic powers (and your mouse) to demolish ever-expanding cityscapes across 40 levels of escalating carnage. As you feed the Great Devourer with the Chaos of your rampage, you will be blessed with Tokens and the honor of taking on greater challenges. Be sure to use those tokens wisely because as the cities get bigger the buildings get tougher.
Do what any red-blooded cultist would do. Turn destruction into profit. Spend Tokens in the shop on permanent upgrades, powerful Boons , and special Relics that make each night of devastation more lucrative than the last. Recharge your Relics between runs and watch your power compound like interest on a really evil savings account.
Wield the power of Relics, ancient artifacts granting abilities that turn you from a humble cultist into a walking apocalypse. Are those dusty old relics not enough power for you? Choose a Relic you want to make permanent and sacrifice the unworthy ones to the Void. Think of it as a terrible gift exchange...with an eldritch horror. Still thirsty for power? Can't wait for the big guy to show up? Unlock his lesser gods, each packing elemental status effects, spectacular special attacks, and valuable currencies of their own.
As the gaping maw of the nameless terror closes around the earth, you realize summoning it was never really about a higher calling or material wealth. You might've just been bored, and following a crowd is easy.

This game is boring as hell. Oh you like fire? Oh go f**k yourself, you'll get an ice upgrade and youll like it. Theres 40 levels which are borderline identical. Nothing really changes and it took me 90 minutes to complete where as the last 60 minutes where literally just me waiting for something interesting to happen when i hit lvl 40. Play the demo. Its exactly the same. Replay the demo 8 times and youve experienced the full game.
Bought it thinking it's an idler as it has the idler tag. It is not an idler. It is a game you need to be very active with and the activity is very repetetive. I reported the idler tag because this very much does not belong in that category of game.
Destroy houses to cause chaos, earn upgrades and relics, unlock shrines, and progress through tougher neighborhoods while boosting your destructive power. The premise of the game is simple. You must create enough chaos to summon an ancient god. This is done by moving your mouse over a house and holding the button until the structure is destroyed. You can also tap the button to deal small amounts of damage, which is faster than holding but less powerful. Speed is essential because you only have a limited time to destroy as many structures as possible in the square shaped neighborhood. When the timer runs out, you will see how much experience you earned. You gain some experience with each click, and if certain conditions are met, you can choose an upgrade from a random selection of three glyphs. These upgrades may increase click damage, add critical hits, expand the blast zone, and more. Once selected, they become permanent and appear on the upgrade board arranged in a circle. Additional perks are rewarded for beating a stage, which happens when you fill the experience bar to its maximum. You can take as many nights as you need to reach this goal. Once you do, you level up and move on to the next neighborhood, which contains more and stronger structures. Completing a stage rewards you with tokens and relics. As with upgrades, you are offered three random relics and choose one. These relics enhance your destruction in different ways, such as dealing extra damage on every third click or damaging structures within a blast area. Tokens serve as the game’s currency and can be spent in the shop to buy glyphs or relics. You can also gamble by purchasing a boon that grants a random reward, but you’ll lose tokens more often than win something good. The shop’s inventory changes every few nights. Although the items can be expensive, they may appear in higher rarity tiers than those found in the standard upgrade offers. Higher rarity increases the strength of the effect. As you progress, you will eventually unlock your first shrine. There are five shrines in total, each connected to an element such as fire or lightning, and they unlock in order as you level up. Each shrine attacks random structures on the map and helps you clear areas faster. They also introduce their own relics and glyphs that may appear among the rewards when you complete objectives. However, there is a limitation. You can equip only eight relics at a time, while the rest remain in your inventory. Since the inventory can quickly become crowded, you can sacrifice five relics to turn one into a permanent upgrade on the board. This means the relic’s effect will always be active and no longer needs to be equipped. The downside is that the sacrificed relics must match in tier, so you will rarely give up several legendary relics just to make one permanent. The main incremental mode ends at level 40, which does not take very long to complete, but there are two other modes. Zen mode allows unlimited destruction, with every click dealing maximum damage and no objectives to worry about. Strategic mode is similar to the main mode, but relics have a limited number of uses. In return, you earn more tokens for each level. Although most achievements will be earned during a single run, there are a few that will require grind for quite a few hours.
Do you really want Carpal Tunnel so you can give up that day job and apply for disability? Do you long for a game that makes you feel like you never progress no matter what you do? Are you looking for buggy cascading effects that never cascade? This may be the game for you. If you're anything like me, this isn't the game for you. 1/5 - Neat art and music, good concept, terrible execution, which is what this is to people who had functioning wrist cavities.
Fun short incremental game summoning the Devourer, it strikes a good balance between humor and dark fantasy. Upgrades are paced well so you can absolutely destroy everything towards the end, or have a more challenging experience making strategic choices in other game modes.
I truly enjoyed Hail the Devourer! I am not generally a fan of incremental games but this one planted a seed in my brain that I just could not shake. The more I played the more I wanted to experiment with different builds, especially after unlocking a new shrine. The build diversity alone kept pulling me back for just one more run. Not to mention the art and music are absolutely right up my alley, giving the game a vibe and personality that really sets it apart. I would highly recommend this game even if incremental games are not usually your thing.
Nothing relaxing about time'd clicking. Nice graphics but the game is cursed with being a chore.
Vibe for days. Easy to fall in the zone and relax while leveling entire cities. Full click mode is the way to go, it starts off slow but spending the time to upgrade pays off. Much more satisfying in the end than clicking everywhere randomly. For the price and polish it’s a great few hours spent!
Full breakdown 📺 https://youtu.be/VfyNPKWWacI This is pure destruction distilled into a tight, addictive loop. You’re smashing structures, stacking upgrades, and turning small runs into chaotic chain reactions. Everything ramps up fast, and it feels great the whole way through. It’s a short, satisfying experience that kept pulling me back in.
I enjoyed smashing buildings more than I thought I would. It's hard to stop once you get going and trying out the different powers and figuring out different ways to play is super fun. The visuals, the music, and all the humorous messages throughout make for a game with a lot of personality.
