Hack ‘n’ Slash is a puzzle action game about hacking -- reprogram object properties, hijack global variables, hack creature behavior, and even rewrite the game’s code. The only way to win is not to play...by the rules!

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Interesting way of interacting with a game.
For a game centering around coding concepts, they certainly skipped the debugging part. This game tries to have a plan in place if you do something that break code, by returning you to the beginning of a room. However, there are many times where a plan is not in place and the game softlocks and even hardlocks you, forcing you to quit out of the game entirely. These ranged from enemy interactions freezing the game, to the screen going black with random alphanumeric text filling it up forcing me to close the game entirely. Beyond that, many parts of the game are cheeseable due to the nature of altering code, and the game literally admits that in the final stretch it gets super lazy by having empty and broken rooms leaving the final boss wide open to reach without challenge.

I love this game, have played it in past. And now I got it on my account. Finished in 7.5 hours!
Cute but short.
This is a great game. Possibly niche if you're not interested in programming. If you're interested in understanding how games work or how to break them, it's a great introduction though.
Sehr cool vor allem für (Hobby-)Programmierer :)
Started very interesting and got very incredibly difficult to understand what to do. Only play this if you really know Lua language or else it will be a trial and error try hard run for a while and/or you just give up after a time and look up the solutions online IF you find them.
NOTA: 4/10
Frustrating
