GUNGRAVE VR

Ah, good ol' [b]Gungrave[/b]... Sure, it wasn't the best game series on [b]PlayStation 2[/b], but thanks to its awesome design (the characters were created by [b]Naitō Yasuhiro[/b]-sensei, creator of [b]Trigun[/b], while robots were designed by [b]Fujishima Kōsuke[/b]-san, who's well known for his work on [b]Sakura Taisen[/b] series), tons of action and unique dark setting, it was really hard to forget. As the result, it even ended up as one of those games that got anime adaptations. Unfortunately, after the sequel called [b]Gungrave: Overdose[/b], our old pal [b]Beyond the Grave[/b] appeared only in a crossover game [b]Chaos Wars[/b], in which he met characters from [b]Growlanser[/b], [b]Shadow Hearts[/b] and [b]Spectral Souls[/b]. Aside from that, [b]Gungrave[/b] series and its undead protagonist stayed dead (ah, the irony...). Until not so long ago when proper sequel called [b]Gungrave G.O.RE. Gunslinger Of REsurrection[/b] was finally announced for [b]PlayStation 4[/b]. And to make things even better for old fans, two prologues were released for [b]VR[/b] headsets, including [b]PlayStation VR[/b] and [b]Steam VR[/b]. Unfortunately, the first thing you'll notice here is that... there isn't much story here, really. [b]Grave[/b] is there. [b]Mika[/b] is there. [b]Jyuji[/b] and [b]Rocketbilly[/b] are not. Some people are producing [b]Seed[/b] drug. [b]Seed[/b] is bad. So, go and shoot something maybe? That's pretty much it. Which makes this title completely useless as a prologue to the new game. Also, you can beat the entire thing in about forty minutes and they ask [b]$24.99[/b] / [b]£19.99[/b] for it. That's right, twenty five bucks for forty minutes of gameplay, during which you'll beat a short series of tiny little levels and unlock a new skin. That's right, there's only one skin to unlock and then that'll be it. There's nothing else to do in this game. No extra modes, no challenges, nothing. Heck, there isn't even enough achievements (never thought I'll ever say that). And you know what? It's a freakin' shame. Because gameplay itself? It's pretty cool, really. Even though motion controls aren't supported and the only way to play this game is by using the gamepad, it's a pretty fun experience. Bosses are interesting and require some tactics, you'll be able to use different kinds of attacks (including a special move), sometimes the game will switch from tradition [b]Gungrave[/b]'s third person view to the first person and become more like a shooting gallery, which is also fun to be a part of, etc, etc, etc. Unfortunately, it's really hard to consider [b]Gungrave VR[/b] as a real deal. It feels like short demo of some pretty neat [b]VR[/b] game. Only you need to pay for it quite a lot. So, even though I really want to give this one a thumb up to motivate the [b]XCEED[/b] to bring [b]Gungrave G.O.RE.[/b] to [b]Steam[/b] (the guys didn't even play that greedy this time and gave us the original Japanese voices as an option, which usually doesn't happen in the games they publish and even [b]Gungrave: Overdose[/b] publishers went with “English dub only” policy), I think it'll be unfair for my friends and everybody who'll ever read this review. [b]Gungrave VR[/b] is cool, but way too short and way too limited to even bother. With [b]80%[/b] off, it'll worth adding it to your library, but even then, it'll be just something to play for half of an hour when you'll get some free time on your hands. You beat something real, but it's a bit too early to go to bed? You may as well beat this one. You want a proper game to enjoy for at least a couple of hours? Look somewhere else. Dixi.

[h1]死神が撃鉄を起こした時、奴らの悲鳴が上がる―それは死神が奴らに送る葬送交響曲(フルブレイク・ガンアクション)。[/h1] やれスマホで新作出すだの、出るのが決まったと思ったらPSVRだけっぽいだのでヤキモキさせていただきましたが 無事にPCVRでも本作品がリリースされました。 [ゲーム内容] ガングレイヴODくらいの操作性の(ほぼ)アリーナ型3Dアクション。 一定のエリア内で出てくる敵をひたすら攻撃を避けながら撃破していく感じです。 残念ながら都合上、初代やODのように十数人くらいの敵を一気にぶっ倒しながら前に進んで行くゲーム性ではありません。 (同時に出てくるのは大体3～4人くらい) その他、レール式ガンシューティング・ガンシューティング（移動可能）の合計3パターンが存在します。 (UNの方はまだプレイしていないのと商品自体が別枠なのでそちらで記述予定) ボリュームは5ステージ(×難易度3種類)と値段の割にはまあ…そこそこ? [良いところ] ・おかえりなさい、グレイヴ →ガッツポは見れないけどそれなりの距離からまじまじとグレイヴさんを見れる喜び ・それなりにバリエーションのあるステージ →ステージ毎に若干戦闘スタイルが変わるのでそれなりにジェットコースター感覚で遊べます ・一応、隠し要素もあり →イージーで全ステージをSSランククリアでOD版グレイヴの衣装が使えるとか! ※ちなみにSSランク自体はコンティニューさえしなければ容易に達成が可能になっている…みたい? [悪いところ] ・君の声こんなんだったっけ… →こんな声です。　ミカの声優はアニメ版の方になります(グレイヴは変わってません(っていうか瀕死のときくらいしか声出しません)) 　初代ないしOD版とは違うので特にゲーム版に思い入れのある方は注意 　アニメ版を見たことがあるなら特に違和感はないかと(私は見たことがない) ・とりあえずちゃんと翻訳しました感のある日本語 →このゲームは今はレッド・エンタテインメントの方々ではなく 　韓国のIGGYMOB社によって作られております。 　キャラのセリフについて変な翻訳はされておらずしっかりと翻訳できてはいるのですが 　どこか他人行儀な喋り方、不自然なセリフがいくつか見受けられました 　…まああんまり気になるほどではないかと ・エイムがつらい。 →敵を狙う際は[頭の向きで狙って][ボタンで発射]です。 　右スティックで狙う～とかボタンでのロックオン機能はありません 　その関係で首をそれなりに振り回す上一部ボス戦で弱点を狙うときに首が… [総評] ・ガングレイヴが好き ・VRで遊ぶ3Dアクションゲームに忌避感があんまりない ・それなりの値段はするけどちゃらっと遊べるならまあそれで… 以上のどれか（いちばん重要なのは3つ目だけど）に該当するなら買い。 ただ、それなりの長さの5ステージということでガンガン遊ぶとあっという間に終わるという点はご了承願いたく。 [strike]もっと遊びたいのにもう終わりかよ感は某タイタンスレイヤー(初代)感ある[/strike]

GUNGRAVE ps2 is better -_-

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So I decided to make a Steam account and get this game to see if I could maybe play alongside him. I loaded into the game, picked my character and world and started playing but I was stuck on what you where supposed to do. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a game for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This game has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This game reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

Controls wont work on oculus quest 2 , Not even using virtual desktop or the community tutorials. Waiting for valve to make a VR system more affordable.

I forbid you to buy this garbage.

doesnt work in the slightest with quest 2 which i havent really played any steam game that couldnt atleast take some of the inputs and make them work. so its quite the disappointment.

遊戲的本體說實在的沒有很突出，也不太推薦， 不過，如果Gungrave是你的青春回憶的一部分，那你可以考慮一下。 想入門的話可以找動畫版來看。 The gameplay was not very impressive, I even won't recommend to buy this if Gungrave was not a part of your young times. but if Beyond The Grave was a prat of your life, maybe you should try it. You may try to look around the animation Gungrave if you are interesting in this.
