I really love this game. It is not only exceptionally fun, but the developer(grofie) is a super chill, attentive developer. I had issues where something had saved incorrectly, one of a kind error, and he literally communicated with me my issue, had me send over the needed files to see what was causing my issue, then did whatever you developers do, pushed an update and voila, my game worked perfectly. THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. AAA game developers consistently ship half baked engines, and then essentially tell us to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if we dont like it and that we're SoL if it doesn't work as inteded! Yet this human, this fine specimen of a human, communicated with me likely after working all damn day, spent 5-8 hours fixing it, just for one dude who bought his game. Hats off, slow clap, take a bow, all that ish grofie, you a real one, and I am seriously blessed to have stumbled on your game. Gonna be buying copies for multiple friends in an attempt to support, but I encourage anyone who likes bullet hell, roguelite/like games to absolutely buy this. $5 I guarantee you get 10 hours as the replay value is massive, 10 hours is the bar minimum I expect I will have 100-300 easily in a few months as this game really is that much fun. It has a little jank, but in my opinion it adds to the charm of it all. Give it a chance, sorry I suck at writing, I have brain damage and I end up rambling about what seems to be nonsense as I can barely keep my brain on anything for more than a few seconds. LOVE YOU ALL
Developer fixed my broken save file. I've never had a game that fixed a broken mechanic that only affected me. One heck of a customer service experience. 10/10 experience. Oh yeah and the game is a fantastic blend of bullet hell/ rogue like. Worth checking out if you like post apoc and bullet hell/rogue.
This is a very nice isometric shooter which deserves more attention! Doesn't have a story or campaign, it's just fight after fight with shopping and upgrading in between and that's fine! What I like most about this game is that you'll get your activateable skills via your equipment. A cyborg arm might grant you the ability to rain missiles, a helm might grant you the ability to resurrect fallen enemies etc. And since you get these abilities in addition to stat increases you'll never fully know of one item is truly "better" than others - which means you can tinker a lot. This, and the great variety of available loot, ensure the game stays fresh. You have to be prepared for one thing though: You start from scratch every time you die (later on when you unlocked some perks you can keep random parts of your equip). While this may be offputting for some this is actually another way to keep things fresh, every run will be different depending on the stuff you get offered. It's just an nice little game to spent your occasional hour on. A game you probably won't play for hours straight or every weekend but a game you'll come back to every odd week to have a quick blast! Oh and the dev is quick to fix bugs and very responsive to suggestions and feedback, that's also a big plus :)
Welp, there goes my Saturday. Love the aesthetic and plays great on the steamdeck like a twin stick shooter. I want more permanent passives but it's a great game for the price.
This is currently my favourite game to play on the Steam Deck. Sometimes the AI art and some out of place looking assets leave a bad taste in my mouth but it's a very well crafted experience overall.
a mix of great ideas that were well executed if we consider this was made by a single developer. I've finished the game a couple times on normal and had a near-perfect run on hardcore mode until I reached a seemingly invincible boss who received a ton of shield over a long time from a turret (?) and I couldn't take them down. Other than that, I haven't encountered any game-breaking bugs, though I've seen other reviewers mentioning a few ones. Kudos to the developer!
good game just a few suggestions, more style and color something as simple as walking animations and brighter backgrounds game is fun puts off judge dredd world vibe but i do feel like im looking at vomit after a while.
buggy and NO optimisation. Very early stage. need more love and work. Has potential.
What a cool idea for a game! Plenty of work has gone into this, I respect solo developers like this so much! Also, they are extremely proactive and if you have an issue, they are not shy to get stuck in (discord supported for me). Highly recommend and I see so much potential for this. Get ready for brutal though! :)
cool game, can recommend, just finished last boss on normal. i had no bugs, game runs smooth
