The definitive version of the smash-hit Metroidvania-style action-platformer, Guacamelee! STCE adds new levels, powers, challenges, and refinements to the sprawling, ridiculous, Mexican-inspired adventure of the original Guacamelee! Gold Edition.

Reviews
I play this with my kids when they were 8 and 12 year using the local co-op. It is a ton of fun. Lots of silly humor and great platforming and fun combat. It is a great family game. The sequel is even better.
Great metroidvania with a lot of soul to it. I always restart this and never finish it. I think I'll do that this summer.
A simple story, with good plot. A simple gameplay with great progression. A lot of fun solo or in party.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unique charming world. Good humor and light plot. Fun exploration and wrestling based combat.
A nice little platformer with optional rage inducing sections. However, the game doesn't punish much if you fell, so it's hard to lose more than a small portion of progress at a time. Also, the game wasn't designed around bosses, and it's quite possible to beat them on a first or a second try. If you like Ori and the Blind Forest, you'll probably have a lot of fun.
I bought this on sale years ago and finally played it last month, and the thing that hooked me is how every ability does double duty: the uppercut and headbutt you use to crack colored shields in a fight are the same moves you need to reach a ledge later. Combat is punchy and the dimension swapping puzzles genuinely made me feel clever once they clicked, plus the soundtrack with all the trumpets and guitars stayed in my head for days. It's not perfect, some of the shield colors blur together in a busy brawl and the 2014 meme humor lands with a thud now, but at roughly 9 hours it never dragged for me. If you want something colorful and lively that doesn't demand a Hollow Knight level of pain, get it. Also you can turn into a chicken, which should honestly be the whole store page.
前期玩起来挺爽的,但是后期各种机制小怪需要特定技能才能破防,然后堆怪严重,还有判定比较严格的跳跳乐,我真的玩吐了
