About
Welcome to Groupel, a strategic roguelike where luck is nothing but an illusion… and chance itself becomes a weapon to master.
Each run begins with a handful of chips. Your goal: survive round after round by reaching the required target each time.
But beware — the house doesn’t forgive mistakes. One bad bet, and everything can crumble.
Between rounds, visit the croupier’s shop, a shady yet charming dealer ready to sell you jokers that can rewrite the rules of the game:
multiply your winnings, rig the colors, influence the ball’s path, or bend the odds in your favor.
Build your own synergy, combine effects, and discover unexpected strategies to defy fate.
Every run is unique — new jokers, new challenges, new chaos.
The game adapts to your success: the better you do, the higher the stakes.
You’ll need to take risks, play with probability, and turn your mistakes into opportunities to push your luck further than ever.
🎯 A reimagined roulette gameplay turned into a strategic roguelike.
💎 Over 100 unique jokers with varied and sometimes absurd effects.
🧩 Endless combinations to craft your own playstyle.
🛒 A mysterious shop, filled with shady deals and tempting offers.
🎵 A rich casino atmosphere — roulette spins, whispers, and clinking glasses.
💀 Progressive difficulty where fortune favors the bold.
The question isn’t whether you’ll win…
but how long you’ll last before luck runs out.

Groupel is a Roulette Wheel roguelike, with a very clear cut design. It functions very straight forward: Start with a pool of cash and bet your chances in hopes to achieve the round score in so many spins. Then, transfer to the shop to swoop up some ‘chips’ to help get a higher score as rounds continue, or edit the numbers on your wheel with ‘jokers’. Right now, as it stands, it’s a functionally entertaining foundation and formula for an early build. It has a high potential point; having a working formula is in your favor! I’m excited to see how the flavor continues to grow, and in what ways it takes its own identity. There’s definitely a lot more to be polished. Some visuals and translations, but overall it’s all coming together quite nicely!! Excellent work all around. On one of my runs, I had managed to turn the entire wheel into 2x 7’s. After a failed attempt to take a screenshot I decided to go into the shop and hit erase all of one number; and the entire wheel completely disappeared! The game got crazy buggy after that, it kept re-rolling the shop on continue. A pretty logical conclusion, though funny as it was. It took me around an hour to 100% the current achievements, but I am hopeful more will come in the future.
