A good game that feels a little confused about what it wants to be. Grønland is a little too nice, there's too much being kind to your neighbours and saving dogs for me to buy the sudden dark shifts in tone. There's some also weirdly placed meta stuff that really doesn't fit. Ultimately enjoyable but I feel like this just needed a bit more focus and tightening up screws.
Interesting mystery pixel puzzle story. It kinda reminds me of the show The Horror. Also great audio and music. Def worth the price.
Really loving the story and gameplay so far. The little details in the animation, character design, and dialogue really stand out.

One of my *favorite* games I've played recently. The gameplay is super smooth, the setting and music set the scene perfectly, and the narrative is one of the most interesting I've seen for a game in some time. I wish more people knew about this game; hats off to the devs!
An overall fairly good walking sim with some lite puzzle elements. The biggest strength of the game is in its writing and atmosphere, which works out wonderfully as you piece together the story. That said, the game's biggest flaw is that it's also just kind of tedious. A lot of stuff ends up being fetch quests, and exploration feels more like you're arbitrarily restricted by camera distance rather than proper exploring. The game's run time prevents that from being too much of an issue, but it does hamper what is otherwise a well paced story.
Great game, even more amazing story. I want to play it again to see if there is anything else I missed cause I surely didn't finish it all. I was stuck for a bit at the last cave but finally figured out after a couple of hours of tinkering around. The game at the end was glitching out (slow moving, and weird textures / sprites, and even crashed on me once), but that actually might be part of the game now that I think about it. 10/10, would highly recommend playing this. Well worth the $10 I spent for 10 hours of joy.
Does the trailer look interesting to you? Do you like exploring, enjoy trying to piece together a mystery? If so, expect a good chance at getting your money's worth at full price. (Or if it goes on sale, even better chance!) My playtime was around 10 hours on a thorough ending, so that's like a 1hr:1$ ratio :D You can likely shorten the amount of playtime (4-6 hrs?) if you stick to the main story or extend it further depending on exploring for side quests... And I am also considering replaying to see if I can uncover any alternative outcome... So I can say there is potential replay value with the many choices. ... Music in the game is nice, though there are few tracks total. Movement is partially typical RPG walking, but most of the time you'll be using a kayak. Much faster than walking, but movement can become a slight con late game. Lots of repeated tapping and a bit slow to change direction. For any additional playthroughs I am tempted to bind a speedhack and an auto clicker to a button, so I can speed up repeated journeys. PSA - No battle system. A compelling overall mystery. Game autosaves, so make your decisions carefully! An unexpected event occurred pretty deep into my game, and it gut punched me out of nowhere due to my dialogue choice. I figured I could just alt+f4 and change my dialogue and I suddenly found out I was screwed since it auto saved on changing location >< lol. I just had to ignore and continue, but it does make me want to try to get a different outcome on replay... My choices had a mostly light tone, but be prepared for revelations... You can pet the dog. Anyway, overall I'm satisfied with this game ;D Well made! And well done. EDIT: Actually chose to nominate this for the Outstanding Story-Rich Game Award! If there was an RPG-maker style section it would be a decent contender!
Fun and light exploratory game with a deeper story unraveling. Very atmospheric! I felt cold IRL wandering around the ice sheet. I got that tingling feeling exploring the map that is my favorite thing that certain open world games evoke. And also as the story unfolded later on. Not a puzzle heavy game, but there are a few good ones sprinkled in. Some games I can't put down, and I finished this one fast, including most of the side quests. No spoilers, but don't make the mistake I did. Some games have dialogue guard rails so that you're always steered correctly down a certain path regardless of what you choose. If games do this, I often like to try the different options to see what the game creator wrote. While I think it may be true in the earlier game, later on your choices matter, so keep that in mind!
An excellent exploration puzzle game with an engaging and haunting story line.
