Plot summary - You wake up in a icy cell, locked behind the cell door. You have no clue how you got there or what has happened. Soon as you manage to get yourself out there, you realize something horrible has happened. Your scientist colleagues were conducting some sort of experiments producing special serum that would boost one's immune system greatly when injected, not without side-effects that is. The more you progress, more the horrors that happened starts to unveil. All of your crew members are dead or missing, you find diary notes from your fellow deceased colleagues with distressing messages and last words. Seems like you are only one left, all alone in the icy snow storm with a deadly virus. In the end you need to make a hard decision that will change the future forever, what will you choose? Facility 47 was interesting to say the least. Although on the shop page it kinda makes you think that it's a hidden object game like for example Artifex Mundi games, it's not. I don't necessarily mean that it's a bad thing in this case, but just thought that people might get misled. It's your basic point & click, mystery and puzzle game. It says that it's a horror game. I agree with that on some parts, although it's really mild horror in my opinion. There's kinda gloomy dark music and dark mysterious scenery, but that's about it. No jump scares, no gore content nor anything like that. Plot was quite interesting and it's something that is not guaranteed in p&c games. Most of them are just decent cookie cutter same template stories. This i enjoyed. What comes to the artwork, i really like it and that's why i bought the game in the first place. As you play you notice that there is somewhat poor mechanics. Game doesn't have any map, arrows pointing where you can go or highlighted active areas like in most of these type of games and since it's little bit pixelated what comes to graphics sometimes it might be hard to notice that you can pick up something. Not having map or the arrows showing the way also kinda makes this game little bit confusing in the beginning until you get familiar with the rooms and all the routes you can take. Music is repetitive, i think it only had one song playing in the background whole game? That didn't bother me that much though since this game isn't really that long to begin with so you don't have to listen it for ages. Sound effects in general are okay, nothing extraordinary. Decent for a this kind of a game. There's not much voice acting, the little bit that there is like in the radio at the end is quite good and fitting. I was surprised by that since often in low budget games it can ruin the mood if done poorly or unintentionally funny. If i summary what i didn't like in this game is mostly the lack of achievements. As a player who likes to play games to get complete games to their profile, it was kinda of a let down to see that there's 0 achievements to get. I don't think it's takes too much time to make at least few achievements for a game, so that was kind of a bummer. Like mentioned earlier this game didn't have map and all those sort of things, but on top of that it didn't even have journal with all your collected info in there nor difficulty levels or anything we are familiar in games of the same genre. I feel like it's really pretty game with interesting plot, but cheap and short version type of a game. Price isn't awful when not on sale being 3,99 euros (4,41USD), but i played this game in little bit over a hour so would i pay that price? I know it's only 4 euros, but 4 euros from a hour of fun and from a game you probably not gonna play ever again - No, i would not pay. That's just a personal opinion as a cheapskate. Luckily i got this from a sale and what i have seen it comes to a sale every now and then. Would i still recommend this game? Yes, it might have been short and was missing some parts that i was hoping for, but it was still enjoyable game. Pros • Beautiful artwork • Good ambience • Great soundscape • Interesting & enjoyable plot • Mid level puzzles Cons • No map or arrows pointing where you can go • No journal to collect all the messages • No highlighted areas of interest (No difficulty levels either) • Short - Less than a 2 hours play
I was surprised by the quality of this game, it's a very well thought and fairly challenging point & click adventure game, and it has a really decent plot with a twist at the end. Recommended!
A fun, mysterious game with thoughtful puzzles. I enjoyed the atmosphere of isolation the game provided as you progress through the story trying to piece together your character's story.
прикольно, концовка крутая
Decent Point and Click. Enjoyed it. Some puzzles were weird, but that is what the hint button is for.
This is a cool point & click game, good puzzles and an intriguing story. The artwork is good and ambiance/setting is phenomenal (I am a bit biased as an Antarctic researcher). Totally recommend!
Красиво, но слишком душно
Really wonderful.
