i really liked this one, good story , great puzzles. i especially liked the extra bit at the end. the bonus chapter was longer than i thought it would be. off to see if they have any others i can play
This is a great game. Very challenging puzzles. It took 8 1/2 hours including the bonus. Played with no problems.
It's fun to play, but I'd rather play more hidden object scenes than some annoying minigames^^

Game was way too long. The fact that I noticed that tells you about how much (little) fun this game actually is. Grim Tales games are usually entertaining because they tend to be genuinely creepy in places and have a halfway interesting storyline for this kind of game. In this one, you have to save the life of a little pissant child who dresses in little sailor suits with bowties and has an annoying whiny voice. I was hoping he would wind up dead at the end, but (spoiler alert!) no such luck. We have to deal with his whiny tears straight through the bonus chapter. That was part of what made this a borefest. The kid wasn't worth saving so what's the point of all this? Also, there were far too many minigames. It was like one after another. Usually, Elephant has a nice mix of minigames, HOPs, and an interesting story. This game felt like they were trying to win a contest to see how many minigames they could cram into one story. There are lots of locations to explore, but a quick travel map made it easy to get around. The supernatural elements were majorly thick in this game which seemed redundant and played out for this kind of game. Toward the end I was skipping puzzles because I just wanted to be done with this. The game was so long, I counted 4 screwdrivers, 3 hammers, and at least 2 brooms I found and used throughout the game. The inventory puzzles were majorly redundant too. Too bad because the previous games were actually pretty good. I'm hoping they go back to the winning combination they perfected in the previous games. The Heir was a major misstep.
Mostly skippable puzzles with few hidden object scenarios. HOG games should not be games filled with idiotic puzzles. The game has the usual unintelligible content, which makes no sense and completely random.
Your nephew’s son has disappeared. Technically, so has your nephew. Something still lurks in your family castle. Perhaps something you have forgotten… HO scenes are fun, minigames challenging, and the plot engaging. Recommend in the bundle, just for ease of purchase.
I LOVE HIDDEN OBJECT GAMES
This was such a fun HOP's game. Anna is back to save her family members from the family curse. Can you solve it? Long playing. Been playing these types of games for years and this one took me around five hours. It's a great game to relax with and have some fun.
