Kind of corny and over the top, with a plot that's hard to follow, but the hidden object scenes were fun and the puzzles were unique and enjoyable!
I have played prior Grim Tale series and enjoyed them, but this one wasn't even worth the sale price. The very first HOG had not one but two items that refused to react no matter how many times I clicked on them, then when I gave up and used hint went straight to those items, which now worked. So within minutes of starting I was frustrated. Some of the puzzle descriptions are vague and I just gave up not knowing if I was even trying to do the right thing. And my final gripe? I play these games because I have no hand eye coordination and never have had. Then a key game/puzzle was a follow the pattern with your mouse type that I failed repeatedly. While not the devs fault, the addition of that type of puzzle will ruin the game for us point and clickers, so maybe use it in a less critical point of the game? I was just so fed up by that point I quit. This isn't the first game I loved early chapters of before they apparently just started pumping them out with little thought or beta testing. Too bad, the earlier ones were really enjoyable.
Only one crash, but not lost any items etc.
This is too slow and jerky almost unplayable.
excellant
Grim Tales is awesome
It's okay. The story is good for what it is, but this game is just for someone that is not wanting something fast paced and long. It does get confusing at certain points because you can't just used any object you want to get whatever it is you're after.
