Grim Legends 3: The Dark City

完了好多这家的解谜游戏，恐怖传奇3属于我最喜欢的之一。 优点： + 剧情好，情节抓人，节奏恰到好处，从头到尾剧情不烂俗（对比本家的深海噩梦系列第一和第三部，后期简直俗晕了） + 不用来回跑路（反面例子是本家的《Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden》，跑路跑到气炸） + 场景极其精美，连找东西的小游戏都是视觉的享受 + 女主帅气，全程不降智 + 游戏与全成就难度偏低，加上不用跑路，游玩过程很轻松 缺点： - 中文是上古机翻，配音听懂了，中文字幕狗屁不通

Grim Legends 3: The Dark City is another enjoyable entry in the series. I liked the darker urban setting and the change from the more traditional fairy-tale environments of the previous games. The city has a great atmosphere, and the artwork is once again one of the strongest parts of the game. The city is dark, mysterious and really nice to explore. The artwork is gorgeous, and there are plenty of interesting locations to look around. The story kept me curious, and I enjoyed the mix of hidden-object scenes, puzzles and exploration. It's still worth playing if you enjoy the series or the hidden-object genre, but I would recommend it more for the atmosphere and presentation than for challenging gameplay. Enjoy :)

You already know if you're into this kind of game or not. For me, they are a guilty pleasure. They are cozy, not too difficult and the story is typically cheesy as hell. I found Grim Legends 3: The Dark City to be one of the better hidden object games that I've played, and I've played a lot of them. It's, by far, the best in the Grim Legends series. The story is, dare I say, unique and interesting., the voice acting is over-the-top and the animation is well-done. I also thought that the puzzles are of good quality and rewarding to figure out. I highly recommend this one to HOG fans but definitely don't buy it at full price.

Длина игры: Игра может показаться короткой для тех, кто ищет более длительный опыт; некоторые уровни проходят быстро. Линейность сюжета: Сюжет развивается достаточно линейно без значительных вариантов выбора или альтернативных концовок порой им динамики маловато. Механика поиска предметов: Иногда поиск предметов может быть затруднительным из-за схожести объектов или недостаточной подсказки. Ограниченная реиграбельность: После прохождения игра теряет интерес для тех, кто любит перепроходить с целью найти все скрытые объекты или решить дополнительные задачи. - Но все же, не так критично. Запустить советую!

The gameplay is decent, except some unintuitive moments where you have to go back through several rooms you cleared a long time ago, and my only other gripe being that there aren't enough hidden object puzzles in this hidden object game. (Mild Spoilers?) My actual problems are with the story, where the game expects me to sympathize with an out-of-touch rich woman throwing a tantrum because she doesn't get to marry the psychotic evil hobo someone found injured under a bridge, and then expects me to feel good about her and the hobo killing thousands of people because she was mad at five of them, when only one of those five was actually sorta guilty of something, seeing as he tried to kill the hobo when the hobo shot him. The game also expects me to sympathize with said hobo, because, even after killing thousands of people by knowingly and informedly using the plot maguffin exactly how he was repeatedly told NOT to use it, he said it's mean for people to want him to take even a shred of responsibility and apologize, because he was sad that one time. The game then expects me, at the end of the bonus chapter, to believe that this selfish psychopath would ever commit a heroic sacrifice, in spite of the multiple HOURS I've seen of him that very much prove the opposite. The hobo even attempts to use the plot maguffin again at the very end of the game, even with how many people have already died because of his stupid, self-serving, evil actions with it previously. Both of these awful people make me wish steam had a "meh" button, but instead I am recommending it only because the minigames and other mechanics are solid, nothing was broken, and they have a working map.
