Having a blast, so far. The new class is fun, and I like the synergies it offers.
They cooked with this dlc. I have about 3,500 hrs into the game already. Time to put another 3,500+ into it
This dlc feels like an after-thought that they made out of whim. I don't mind all gameplay changes or what's so ever at all, but the worldbuilding and quests are just boring and bland comparing to the base game or any of the previous DLS.
Introduced terrible stutter/hitching to the game that is ruining the experience. Please fix this asap
Didn't touch Fangs yet, but I did roll a Zerker/Nightblade, and it is amazing! I don't wanna do this, but I just gotta: Imagine developping ARPGs for almost 3 decades (Blizzard), and it's the super late DLC of a 2016 game from a tiny studio that makes a shapeshifter that can use non-shapeshift abilities. GOD I love when game developers make things for them to be fun, and don't self-impose handcuffs to their design "for lore." That is all!
新职业变身只适合状态技能和被动吗?玩个锤子
The claim "biggest expansion so far" is not true at all. It may "look" big because the areas are huge, but it doesn't have half the depth, the immersion, and the polish of Ashes of Malmouth or Forgotten Gods. Ascendant difficulty is not exciting and doesn't add anything new. I would have expected the progression to be somewhat linear with item upgrades needed to finish the questline, No, I simply picked a lvl 100 character and finished it straight away, didn't see any interesting new item drop either. The currency to ascend is extremely scarce and the new region lacks replayabilty value: (It's huge and there's no totems and no multi-floor dungeon) And there's the altar, easily the most hyped addition to the game. All it does is adding some extra chances of mechanics/drops (negligible percentages mostly) at the cost of sacrificing reagents and adding substantial buffs to the monsters hp and dmg. It's nothing groundbreaking but everyone likes rogue-like kind of challenges right? No. The buffs are EXCLUSIVE to the session you are currently playing, so you got to pay the price for activating them EVERY TIME. How they managed to not make it ON-OFF toggle with permanent unlocks, is beyond me, I don't want to be feel forced to play very long sessions to make the most out of the reagents costs. Simply ramp up the cost to unlock altar perks by 10x and make them permanently available. This is really bad design, and disrespectful towards people time. (Not to mention some altar options requires MUCH rarer reagents. penalizing builds that want to activate them) This DLC would have been Ok-ish if it released sooner and without so much hype. As I sad, Ashes or FGD is VASTLY superior in every compartment. I believe it's easily fixable by reworking the altar and drop rate in Ascendant, untl then i cannot reccomend it.
变身太废,吃不了被动武技加成,所以除了暴击,输出没有爆发,职业武技不强,被动光环还行,地图不知道没玩到,新开人物流程太长
I'm just happy I get to run around as a Tzeentch-like bird boy. Not a hardcore dude so I don't care about the 'min max meta grind for 2000 hours' stuff.
