I've only played Green Hell in co-op, so that's the perspective I'm reviewing it from. Overall, I had a really good time with it. The base game is a lot of fun, and I liked that it lets you settle down and build a proper base fairly early on. Once you've got somewhere to call home, it becomes this nice cycle of exploring, gathering resources, improving your camp, and slowly pushing further into the jungle. One thing that really surprised me was just how much content there is. The Spirits of Amazonia honestly took us longer to finish than the main story, so there's definitely a lot of game here. That said, I enjoyed the main story more. The DLC felt a bit all over the place in comparison. Maybe it was just our experience, but we found it much harder to establish a base early, so we spent a lot more time wandering around instead of feeling like we had a place to build up from. The game also doesn't hold your hand at all. You're mostly expected to figure everything out yourself, which can be really satisfying when something finally clicks, but it can also be pretty confusing at first. After a while, resource gathering does start to feel a bit repetitive. We also ended up lowering how quickly our hunger, thirst, and other needs drained because it felt like we were spending more time eating and drinking than actually exploring. Some people will probably enjoy that level of realism, but for us it just made the game flow better. We played with anywhere from three to seven people (with a few mods), and honestly that's where Green Hell really shines. Half the fun was someone accidentally getting poisoned, another person desperately trying to remember which plant fixes it, and everyone else arguing over whether we should build a bigger base or just keep exploring. If you like survival games and have a group of friends to play with, I'd definitely recommend it. It has a steep learning curve and can be a bit grindy at times, but once you get into it, it's a really enjoyable survival experience.

rly good game especially for that price. sometimes for only 2€ with discount. But even for 5-10 bucks its totally worth it! Main story, Prequel and Survival mode. Main story is about 20 hours and prequel is split in 3 parts with at least 40 hours. Different modes from tourist to green hell. Survival is kinda endless. This thing shows how you get good and fun content for a rly fair price. Best part is the Story is actually rly good and the perfect tutorial not just there to fill some worthless easy content. Its a pleasure to support studios like creepy jar! Thanks for that Masterpiece
