Mi sento in leggero imbarazzo. Semplice. What?

I actually enjoyed this game a good bit the combat is super generic bland RPG combat but the story is pretty absurd and pretty dang funny at times the ending was a bit lack luster but the fact you level up super quick in combat is pretty gratifying the puzzles aren't anything super special once you get them figured out but it's a pretty solid game if you have around an hour to spend. RPG Maker strikes again! Great Utopia is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs trying to cash in on abandoned app store stuff. It's an RPG Maker asset flip that was removed from Google Play (understandably) but lingers in the garbage end of the free games section on Steam, which really needs a bit of bleach to clear up some of the pollution and asset flips and failed homework assignments that gamers have to wade through in search of decent games. Great Utopia is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. This high school anime club dropout fanfiction is from someone who apparently watched way too much of The Matrix, there's a convoluted yet still cringey and trashworthy plot about humans coming from incubators, and I can certainly understand that RPG Maker fanfiction writers would be unfamiliar with the human reproductive system, so at least that part of it makes sense. So, should you download this failed mobile app RPG Maker asset flip fanfiction? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ products on Steam? Great Utopia has no upfront cost, but just because something doesn't have a price tag doesn't mean it's valuable. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough. Because this is the kind of game you can just play for free on mobile phones, it's impossible to recommend anyone should pay money for the same experience on Steam. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better off playing the originals, like Final Fantasy, Star Ocean or Chrono Trigger.
not bad 6.5/10
very cute game! <3
This game is nice, it's 2 hours of fun for free for JRPG lovers. This game doesn't deserve so many negative reviews.
Tiene un montón de referencias (Matrix, Children of Men, It, etc).
Was going GREAT until you reach the STUPID laser puzzle room that doesnt even work or make any freaking sense. Would not recommend this game to anyone. Dont waste your time with this half finished game
