Платформер который отправляет в эпоху классических консольных игр
Very fun game, controls might be a little iffy but once you get used to it it's good, I enjoyed the story very much.
7/10 Gravity Circuit is a 2D action/platform fighter, very reminiscent of the old Mega Man games. Rather than absorb your opponent's powers to use as your own, you instead purchase enhancements to your basic loadout, with both passive techs and active techs to be used once sufficiently charged with energy from defeating enemies. The game encourages thorough exploration of areas to find various goodies - paint "chips" that change your suit's behavior and its paintjob, upgrades to your max HP, and saving citizen-bots in exchange for Rescue Coins, which allow you to buy passive upgrades. The game provides this incentive to do thorough exploration, but it avoids the worst aspects of collection side quests because of how they're implemented. For example, passive upgrades are not tied to specific rescues - they cost a number of coins, and one rescue is as good as another, in that regard. Additionally, the Mission Select menu shows the unlocks for a zone, so you know if you've gotten everything or not. Even if you haven't, a completed mission can be jumped back into at any checkpoint, making it even easier to go back and catch anything you've missed, though this was only rarely necessary. I really appreciated the way the game was respectful of my time in this way. The game design was highly polished, with everything looking very good and movement & combat both feeling very smooth. I enjoyed the game's narrative well enough, providing some decent twists and fun enough to follow, but the whole thing remains easily skippable if you just want to bash some enemies. In terms of things I'm docking points for, I wish the difficulty were more granular. The game has Easy/Normal/Hard difficulties, which must be selected at the game start. I figured out after an hour of trying at the first boss in the mines that Normal was going to be too difficult to me, as combat moved too quickly for me to reliably avoid damage and keep myself alive to get the victory. Once I restarted the game on Easy, I ended up clearing most of the bosses on my first try. If I could've made a more fine difficulty adjustment, that would've been much appreciated. Relatedly, I also ended up setting 3 passives (you can only equip 3) and kept them on for the whole game - one to make overflow weapons energy heal me, one to double jump, and one to reduce damage taken. These seemed so far and away the most obviously good passives (and may have contributed to me feeling that Easy was too easy for me), that I feel like maybe they should've been baked into the character baseline, rather than competing with other passives. For someone with more skill than me at the combat, they'd likely have enjoyed this even more than me, and I thought it was a pretty good game. I picked this up on a whim during a Steam giveaway, and now I'm really curious to check out Gravity Circuit 2 when it releases.
simplemente hermoso, me recuerda bastante a la saga zero
sorprendentemente entretenido
I don't even know where to start with this game. The art is beautiful, the soundtrack is incredible, the gameplay is smooth and immersive, and most importantly, it's just really fun. This game is a must for anyone who likes platformers, combat, and action games. Easily one of my top 10 games of all time.
