Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 12 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Gravethorn is set in a city slowly being overtaken by a living curse.
Roots spread beneath the ground and through human flesh, binding the land, the church, and its people to a cycle of decay. The faith meant to contain the curse has long since begun to rot.
You play as an Inquisitor tasked with confronting what remains. Not to save the world, but to understand what went wrong, and decide how far you are willing to go.
Explore a non-linear, interconnected world of decaying chapels, haunted forests, and ruined strongholds. Paths overlap, shortcuts reveal themselves over time, and the land quietly records the damage left behind.
Fights emphasize timing, positioning, and commitment. Enemies are dangerous, and recovery is limited. Progress comes from learning patterns and respecting the space you are given.
Adapt your approach as encounters unfold. Patience and restraint matter as much as aggression. Openings must be earned.
Discover trinkets, sigils, and remnants tied to the curse itself. Equipment and passive effects allow you to shape your Inquisitor without locking you into a single style.
Power is gained gradually, often at a cost.
Throughout your journey, you will encounter individuals shaped by faith, fear, and regret. Their stories are fragmented, often contradictory, and never fully explained.
Lore is uncovered through observation, environment, and implication rather than direct exposition.
Boss fights serve as major turning points, each reflecting a different aspect of the curse and the institution that failed to contain it.
Defeating them does not bring relief. It only allows you to move forward.
Gravethorn is a game about persistence, consequence, and the quiet weight of unfinished penance.

Reviews
If you like Blasphemous (as I do), Gravethorn is a no brainer recommendation, especially as it's only $5. For a solo dev Soulsvania game, it's got solid artwork/atmosphere, gameplay and storytelling. That said, judging it on its own merits, I have my share of issues with it: 1) It's got bugs: not constant but bad. At one point, important quest-related dialogue choices went invisible on my screen, forcing me to choose blindly. A boss randomly stopped spawning adds. Common enemies in NG+ suddenly started taking 77 hits to kill (restarting the game resolved the issue). And I also simply had the game crash on me. (Edit: Unfortunately, this is still true. Had a number of unpleasant bugs on a second playthrough, including related to quest dialogue.) 2) The in-game economy feels needlessly stingy, particularly when fast travel (actually, really everything) costs currency and goes up in price over time. (Edit: Ceases to be an issue in New Game Plus.) 3) Some of the missable quests could do a much better job letting the player know that their choices have permanent consequences that will necessitate an additional playthrough. (Edit: I had a comment about New Game Plus feeling unbalanced, but that's largely no longer the case following a recent patch. There's an elite enemy that you encounter early on that repeatedly nuked my health for some reason, but it was the exception, not the rule.) Aside from these gripes, Gravethorn is a very good game, and again, you can't beat five bucks.
