Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 20 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10.5 places towards #1, and the 2,491 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Choose your side in the American Civil War: Real-time campaign, spanning from Secession to the end of the war, with historical objectives for both sides.
Five campaign scenarios (Pre-War, 1861, 1862, 1863, 1864) and twenty (20) stand-alone battles from 1st Manassas in 1861 to Appomattox Court House in 1865.
Change history: What if European superpowers intervened to end the war, or Lincoln lost the presidential election of 1864?
Scott’s Great Snake: Lay siege, raid and blockade your enemy on land and sea or use blockade runners to keep the life-lines to Europe open.
From Fort Sumter to Appomattox: Watch closely the morale of your citizens and troops. As the war drags on, fervor turns to fatigue, the treasury threatens to run dry, and measures like drafting will cause unrest.
Keep the armies marching: Build and manage the flow of supplies to your armies. Utilize and expand railroad lines to supply and move armies for the first time in history!
Pivotal battles: Fight battles lasting multiple days on historical battlefields. Use engineers to build pontoons and dig trenches, see reinforcements change the tide and commit your reserves to defeat the enemy.
Grant vs. Lee: Manage hundreds of historical commanders with personal attributes and specialization. Famous commanders inspire soldiers and citizens alike and loss of reputation can be irreparable.
Command Great Armies: Huge armies of infantry, cavalry and artillery, with realistic command structures and historical Order of Battle.
Bring the Civil War to life: Amazing Civil War re-enactment and combat footage from LionHeart FilmWorks, and an original soundtrack of old time music and drum and fife band.Updates

Great game definitely worth buying if your a big fan of strategy games epically American Civil War period games this is going to be a must have. The level of detail is great and the ability to customise your units and commands is a great detail the extra option of picking up the Whiskey & Lemon DLC is great for those wanting to play a career mode which allows you to start at the bottom of the rank ladder and build yourself up.

great game
>Release game > get hype > release dlc for cash >leave game dead >new game! >dab me up!
After bug fixes the game got better really but it still has major balancing issues when it comes to the officer career mode and then horrendous AI. For some reason division HQ gave me some command to RESERVE in the enemys position and then told me to alone capture an heavily guarded position with 3 regiments. The pathfinding is horrible but slowly getting better. Overall the game has major issues but I love it its such a good game really and the DLC career mode is very addicting as we never had a game like this before with the dlc so its a great game.
great game . however , do not come into this game thinking that this is a total war copycat. that is the mistake i made. total war is checkers, this is chess.
I enjoyed playing this game, is it perfect? No There are a few things i think could be improved upon: 1. The supply situation can be a bit crap, spend millions building a supply depot and it barely keeps your men supplied. 2. Training of your troops: I wish there was some function to train the troops rather than hoping they improve on the march. 3. Strategic positioning of armies: countless times I used one army to pin the enemy in place and moved a second army to the rear only to have them drawn up on the same side of the battle map losing all strategic advantage. 4. Navy: it has almost no bearing at all on the game at all. That being said it offers a different kind of challenge to total war or paradox. Features I like: 1. The state of readiness: This is a double edged sword, its accurate because it's not like the men were in a standing army and so wouldn't have turned up battle ready, but it can take a long time for your troops to assemble and then get ready to do battle, if the enemy is upon you before that time, the men you do have are going to turn and run. Back to the accuracy point, the men aren't going to fight battle after battle day after day even if they win, they need a break to get back to readiness. 2. Morale: This is a great feature and depends on many things, how good is the commander, whats his reputation, how ready are the men, how many battles have been fought in succession, what size is the opposing army, how well supplied are you? No bullets, no fight. makes sense right? 3. Capturing the enemy: You can capture the enemy as they attempt to flee and set up prison camps. 4. The economy: You can be as involved in that as you'd like, choosing to construct things as funds allow or you can set it to automatic, while this isn't a main part of the game, how you control the economics will determine if you have the funds to raise men or procure weapons. 5. Rivalries: Sure this can be frustrating when you have a commander that ignores or delays orders given, but it certainly adds a new element to the challenge. 6. More than one way to skin a cat: The multiple ways you can win. They are bankrupt, so you can target the enemies economy, militarily by destroying the morale with continued victories over them, or public opinion - Playing as the south no matter how many victories I scored over the north I was never going to be able to match them man for man and industry, so I used larger armies to pin them in places and smaller armies to take territory which crushed the public morale. Does this game need some polish? Absolutely! But regardless its a fun game with plenty to offer. If you want a game where you don't really have to think, this probably isn't for you, but if you enjoy strategy games where you have to think then this is worth a try.
