Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 1/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 20 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10.5 places towards #1, and the 2,491 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Choose your side in the American Civil War: Real-time campaign, spanning from Secession to the end of the war, with historical objectives for both sides.
Five campaign scenarios (Pre-War, 1861, 1862, 1863, 1864) and twenty (20) stand-alone battles from 1st Manassas in 1861 to Appomattox Court House in 1865.
Change history: What if European superpowers intervened to end the war, or Lincoln lost the presidential election of 1864?
Scott’s Great Snake: Lay siege, raid and blockade your enemy on land and sea or use blockade runners to keep the life-lines to Europe open.
From Fort Sumter to Appomattox: Watch closely the morale of your citizens and troops. As the war drags on, fervor turns to fatigue, the treasury threatens to run dry, and measures like drafting will cause unrest.
Keep the armies marching: Build and manage the flow of supplies to your armies. Utilize and expand railroad lines to supply and move armies for the first time in history!
Pivotal battles: Fight battles lasting multiple days on historical battlefields. Use engineers to build pontoons and dig trenches, see reinforcements change the tide and commit your reserves to defeat the enemy.
Grant vs. Lee: Manage hundreds of historical commanders with personal attributes and specialization. Famous commanders inspire soldiers and citizens alike and loss of reputation can be irreparable.
Command Great Armies: Huge armies of infantry, cavalry and artillery, with realistic command structures and historical Order of Battle.
Bring the Civil War to life: Amazing Civil War re-enactment and combat footage from LionHeart FilmWorks, and an original soundtrack of old time music and drum and fife band.Updates

I hate to give it a yes or a no. Only logged 85 hours and I'll be damned if I got any kind of handle on this one. Only tried playing as the south and I can't get anything going before the north attacks. Missouri is impossible, I can't field or supply even a miniscule army. I'll just have to take vacation and keep trying because the game seems fun if I could just find, feed, and fight a southern army.

Rarely play a bad game but this one is just sluggish and somewhat unfinished. it had the makings to be a great game but fell short

Good game
TLDR: Very Good! This game has depth and breadth to spare, and very worth it even if you're not a super-fan of the subject matter. It has a somewhat steep learning curve, but number of things you have to learn to juggle keeps the game engaging. This game is similar to the "Total War" games. You have a campaign map where you make strategic decisions and you have a battle map where you make tactical decisions. However, the game has more depth and far more "moving pieces", which makes the gameplay engaging at both levels. If you're looking for a Total War style strategy game with more depth and/or a Civil War style to it, this'll be right up your alley.
I love this game.
im overstimulated
I have got a bit of a thing for the Civil War as some people do and have a handful of games that represent it in my library, none of which I have ever finished. I am on my 3rd run through on this one and loving it. It is sublime and fun, complex, cute, and very well executed. The A.I. is a little weak in some areas but i have yet to find one that excels in everything so I cant really knock it. Well done the Devs', a very good and worthwhile effort. I can see it being one of my favourites for some time to come.
