A sword which heralds calamity. It comes with high stats, making it useful for the early stages of the game. Only equippable by the captain.

this sword is NOT required for an achievement, don't listen to the goobers on here. there's just a glitch with the achievement to acquire weapons that the devs have posted about and are actively working to fix.

Neat cosmetic but honestly overall the special edition upgrade isn't worth it aside from the skin recolors being SLIGHTLY discounted. I don't expect a dlc weapon to be particularly good but aside from the little revive buff its incredibly underwhelming.
Must have 👍
Early game it is a great weapon. It makes it so that you can easily do the first three quests offline and get an S++ as soon as they are unlocked. But if you play the story without putting a bunch of time into quests, it, almost immediately, gets outclassed by the sword the game gives you through the story. Essentially, get it if you want it as a sword skin that is not acquirable in-game. It doesn't glow (like fully awakened Ascension or Terminus weapons), and in my opinion, it doesn't match the aesthetic of the outfits and colors available for Gran/Djeeta. But I like the way it looks, so NO RAGRETS.
The sword is great for most of, if not, the entire story. It looks great and is fantastic while you're learning how to play the game and avoid boss/enemy attacks due to getting a free revive every like (little less than) 5 minutes.
very helpful weapon for the mc
