The Kingdom of Myrtana has been invaded by a relentless horde of orcs. ⭐ 7,5/10 — Un ottimo RPG, frenato da un'ottimizzazione discutibile Dopo averlo finalmente concluso, posso dire che Gothic Remake mi ha lasciato una buona impressione. Non avendo mai giocato l'originale, sono contento di aver recuperato questo titolo attraverso il remake. PRO L'ambientazione fantasy medievale è sicuramente uno dei punti forti. Il mondo di gioco è piacevole da esplorare e una discreta soundtrack contribuisce parecchio a renderlo immersivo. Ho apprezzato molto anche i personaggi, generalmente ben scritti, e soprattutto il modo in cui vengono definite le regole del mondo di gioco. All'inizio sono piuttosto restrittive e si ha davvero la sensazione di essere una nullità: praticamente qualsiasi cosa può metterti in difficoltà. Proseguendo nell'avventura, però, si percepisce molto bene la crescita del personaggio, fino ad arrivare a sentirsi effettivamente il guerriero/mago più potente della Barriera. È una progressione che ho trovato molto soddisfacente. CONTRO Le quest sono forse un po' troppo facili da rompere. In alcuni casi è possibile portarle avanti in un ordine non previsto dagli sviluppatori e questo può generare delle piccole discrepanze nei dialoghi, soprattutto nelle fasi più avanzate del gioco. Nulla che abbia compromesso la mia esperienza, ma è sicuramente qualcosa che si nota e che poteva essere gestito meglio. OTTIMIZZAZIONE E qui arriviamo al vero problema del gioco. L'ottimizzazione è, purtroppo, il motivo principale per cui farei fatica a consigliarlo senza riserve. L'utilizzo dell'Unreal Engine 5 si fa sentire parecchio: soprattutto nelle zone più aperte, le performance sono tutt'altro che ottimali e lo stuttering è davvero allucinante. È un peccato, perché in alcuni momenti il problema delle performance finisce per rovinare un'esperienza che, sotto molti altri aspetti, funziona davvero bene. CONCLUSIONE Non posso fare un confronto diretto con l'originale, non avendolo mai giocato, ma personalmente sono contento di aver scoperto Gothic in questo modo. Stra-consigliato agli amanti dei GDR, soprattutto a chi cerca un gioco che sappia mettere alla prova. Gothic Remake non è un gioco facile, specialmente alle difficoltà più alte, ma per chi vuole una sfida è sicuramente un punto a favore. Per i meno masochisti, comunque, è sempre possibile abbassare la difficoltà e godersi maggiormente la storia e l'esplorazione. 7,5/10 — Un ottimo RPG con un mondo affascinante e una progressione molto soddisfacente, peccato per le performance.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Einfach zauberhaft – Gothic ist zurück! Das Spiel ist für mich einfach zauberhaft. Ich bin heute 38 Jahre alt und habe Gothic damals selbst gespielt – allerdings habe ich seinerzeit mit Gothic 2 angefangen. Umso schöner ist es, dieses Gefühl von früher wieder erleben zu dürfen. Für mich ist das Remake endlich wieder ein richtiges Rollenspiel, bei dem der Spielspaß im Vordergrund steht. Es fühlt sich nicht so an, als müsste man ständig irgendwelche komplizierten Skill-Bäume studieren, Charakterwerte ausrechnen oder im Internet recherchieren, welchen Build man spielen muss, damit der Charakter überhaupt stark genug wird. Hier darf man einfach wieder spielen. ❤️ Ich spiele aktuell auf Schwer, und dadurch bekommt das Spiel zusätzlich eine schöne Herausforderung. Trotzdem fühlt es sich nie so an, als würde man gegen das Spiel oder irgendwelche komplizierten Mechaniken kämpfen. Man erkundet die Welt, trifft Entscheidungen, entwickelt seinen Charakter und erlebt einfach die Geschichte. Auch die Grafik ist wirklich hervorragend gelungen. Besonders die Charaktere wurden meiner Meinung nach unglaublich gut aufgewertet. Sie wirken modern und detailliert, ohne dabei den alten Gothic-Flair zu verlieren. Genau diese Mischung aus Nostalgie und moderner Technik ist euch meiner Meinung nach hervorragend gelungen. Ihr habt es tatsächlich geschafft, Gothic wieder in die alten Zeiten zurückzuführen und gleichzeitig modern zu machen. Und genau das vermisse ich bei vielen modernen Spielen. Nach einem langen Arbeitstag möchte ich mich einfach hinsetzen, spielen und abschalten. Ich möchte nicht vorher drei Stunden recherchieren müssen: „Welchen Skill muss ich nehmen?“ „Welches Item brauche ich später?“ „Welche Quest darf ich jetzt auf keinen Fall machen?“ „Welchen Build muss ich spielen, damit ich im späteren Spiel noch mithalten kann?“ Bei Gothic kann ich einfach losziehen und die Welt erleben. Für mich fühlt sich das wieder nach einer Zeit an, in der Spielen noch einfach Spielen war – und nicht wie ein Wettbewerb gegen andere Spieler oder ein permanentes Optimieren des eigenen Charakters. Nach der Arbeit abschalten, in die Kolonie eintauchen und einfach Spaß haben. Genau das sollte ein Rollenspiel sein. Ein riesiges Lob an das gesamte Entwicklerteam. ❤️ Ihr habt den alten Geist von Gothic bewahrt und ihm gleichzeitig ein modernes Gesicht gegeben. Für mich ganz klar: 10/10 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
