Those who enjoyed Slay the Spire or Darkest Dungeon will probably enjoy Gordian Quest and see similar elements. There's a lot of meat to chew through if you enjoy reading stats in your spare time, but you can also "build by feel" pretty decently. Combat uses a deckbuilding system and 2 kinds of action points to pay required costs for cards and change position on the field, which is a 6-16 tile grid on each half. Good positioning and reading enemy targeting behaviors are both absolutely essential to survive. There are the usual assortment of blocks, buffs, and status conditions. Balance is bad in an entertaining kind of way. Combat turn order is determined by a D20 roll plus initiative stats. You cannot lose this roll because even a basic wolf pack is happy to kill your party members in one attack. Conversely, if you've survived long enough to get a strong build you'll never lose initiative, can dance back and forth 18 times to gain movement buffs, will incinerate most things before they move, and can hide behind a temporarily invincible teammate who is now a meat barricade. Obliterate or be obliterated. Damage and HP scaling are wacky and underwhelming lategame/on harder difficulties without either finding a source that scales (summoned units) or using status to make it absurd again (bleed and crit.) Magic and poison builds hold strong and are busted. It's fun but janky. Heroes each have 3 paths that influence their decks and how they play, and the differences are meaningful. Skill trees are built for each hero in modules you unlock as they level up; you can pick modules from different paths but risk synergy in doing so. There's a trinket system with a lot of slots and customization you could spend a very long time with. You mostly do not need to. There's a lot under the hood but the card, skill tree and hero stat systems all interact in a smooth and satisfying way. Like combat, camping is card-based and uses time as a resource to heal HP and exhaustion, replenish supplies and gain temporary (or permanent!) buffs. Heroes all have 3 unique camping skills and the system is fun and strategic overall. The art style is quite nice and holds its quality throughout the game. The cast of characters are diverse, colorful and all viable, though there's little character specific dialogue or interaction. The overarching story in campaign mode is not revolutionary either; you're buying this for the combat, stat tinkering and maybe visuals. If you're into any of those, it's worth picking up.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great game, very unkown but GOOD.
