Ooh, first reviewer? Don't mind if I do...*rubs my gay hands together* OKAY. I’m not a crier, and for a silly game about a cute baby, I cried. A lot. The ending made me bawl like a baby (heh), and the 1902 route did too. The Winter route was really interesting - it went a lot of places I didn’t expect it to go, and I greatly enjoyed all three. The main route was a surprisingly deep story with drama for days. Also the twists??? I was genuinely shooketh. I can honestly say this game was insane (in the best way), there is no other yuri like this I've ever seen. The way it looks is so pleasing to the eye, the art is amazing, the writing is concise and easy to read, music is great. A great story coupled with so many great factors around it has made it a solid 10/10 title for me. This VN is amazing...what more can I say? I’d absolutely recommend Good Luck Baby to anyone, it will get you in the honey nut feelios
all im saying is this game is a relatively small release from only a few weeks ago and a valve employee has already tested this game for steam deck meaning some random valve employee has good taste

tbh idk how to start this review, there were a lot of moments where i thought "oh i knew it", "see i was right". I was practically talking to myself while playing this game, that's how good it is for me. im so immersed with the story, it was very good. the comedy appears where i least expect it and it came very naturally. i like how they use real life animals on some part which truly amuse me (actually screenshot a lot of them HAHA). oh and the scenery in this game was very beautiful too. the music was very great, i like the part where they put sfx when the characters are talking and if you noticed it, it actually aligns with their intonation and emotions. im very fond of the bgm when the red moon appears in Tokyo. going with the characters, i have to say that my most favorite gotta be Saki. i don't need to explain why, you'll know when you play the game. when in terms of pacing with the characters relationship, at first i thought it was a bit fast but everything makes sense until i get to the point about The Creation and stuff, also the small details as to why Kasumi is wearing the "sun" necklace and Hifumi wearing the "moon" earrings. i literally screamed "I KNEW IT" going through the playthrough. HAHA these small details are wonderful too Overall I super enjoyed this story and it was beautiful. this game literally have romance, comedy, drama, supernatural and even historical things. everything i like is definitely here geez. I hope more yuri vn enjoyers finds this story and will give a try. note: i made this review after playing the main story. surely i will play the other routes since i want to know more about Hoshino and Usagi (SPRING 1902) and the different route of the main story (WINTER 200X) thank you for creating this wonderful story!
I'm still making my way through it, so I can't leave a particularly detailed review, but it's proven to be a very charming VN so far. It's fast-paced and doesn't drag, the characters have a lot of personality, and though the art assets are sparing, the art that is there is top notch. Aesthetically, it's all cohesive and appealing (apart from the photographic images of the dog, which is the point lol. It's a silly gag which made me laugh whenever I saw it). I've been enjoying it a lot so far, and I'd encourage other people to check it out if you're looking for some zany yuri comedy hijinks!
Well, Noodletub did it again!! Another amazing lesbian Visual Novel that made me laugh, and cry, and fall in love with another story and set of characters. I loved it all so much! I loved the references to older games (and side-content novels), I loved the old characters and I loved the new ones. I was so excited for it, and it did not disappoint! This game and the expansion of this amazing universe was insane (in the best way possible) and I just can't wait for the next Noodletub game!
nothing but respect for MY game of the year
TD; DR Review – If Yuri visual novels is your thing, this one should definitely part of your library. Among its qualities, the most notable is the cheekiness and smartness of its writing, providing the player with an engaging and thoughtful story. Well, actually, “three” of them. I’m surprised the game doesn’t make more waves, it definitely deserves some attention. Graphics/Sound ★★★★★★★★☆☆ Graphics aren’t the easiest to rate because they’re often bound to the time/budget the authors and/or the (commissioned?) artists had on a given piece, and well, I don’t work in this field. Overall, I enjoyed Good Luck Baby visually. It’s pretty obvious it had little resources with makeshift techniques akin to what SeaBed used (real pics, blurred real pics, etc). Does it make it less good? Actually, not that much. First because all characters are well drawn and have a decent share of facial expressions :KasumiSmug:, second because authors managed to turn some of these limits into a strength (often when pets are concerned), third because some of the setup and visual effects are really, really convincing and well done (often implies monitors, or light effects added). Much of the same with sound. Musics does the job, and I happened to be particularly fond of the musics of 1902. Story ★★★★★★★★★☆ Good Luck Baby give us the pleasure to enjoy 3 stories (the main, 2002 summer, being noticeably longer than the two others, 2002 winter and 1902), which will take you about 15-20h to go through all of them. All of them take place in the same universe, two being, I suppose, canon, and third is some kind of alternative. What’s interesting about them, and probably the main success of this visual novel, is how different they feel in the writing style. The writer(s) really did one hell of a job to manage to include a very romantic story, a rather action-packed and cheeky main story and a … pretty brutal alternative. All of this give the impression to play 3 different games although they are connected. Really impressive. Another great success is the ability of Good Luck Baby at throwing you off constantly with a rather clever set of absurd situations, putting you into “Wat?” mode, without actually sounding ridiculous. The only point which might not be of the taste of everyone is that, beside the brutal story, the main plot is written in a rather Manichean (well given the subject, it was hard not to) and idealistic style, which might not please everyone. But for someone as stupidly naive as I am, it was a great pleasure. Characters ★★★★★★★★★★ If I was asked who was my favourite, it would be hard to tell, even for the meanies. All of them are lovely (well, the M in her own way). For the two main characters, I appreciated their different way to think when you swap perspectives, it is really convincing. I can’t say much more without spoiling. What, I really have to pick a favorite? Erh… Usagi. Gurl stronk, gurl cute, gurl badass. Waifu-grade seal of approval. Route system ★? No real route system, it’s virtually a Kinetic visual novel... but one with three road! Notable extras points: - GLB is (probably) packed with references, not sure, I usually miss them easily, recognized a decent bunch. If you’re a nerd/gamer you’re at home. - A cool set of extra scenes - The Back to Extras button is… a good tribute to 2002. Oof. PS: Why having Sandwich Queen when you can have 6 Girls, Hifumi!?
It's a fun, comedic and very adorable yuri visual novel, what more can you ask for?
10/10 would babysit again.
