cool game....plateforming with some mario mechanic
Picked this up after hearing some good things about it, and glad I did! Enjoyable little platformer, which combines the door slams from Hotel Mario with a very arcade-y esthetic. Music's really good, and I especially liked the variation in the level design, with various gameplay elements introduced throughout in a very organic way. I can see myself return to complete the world objectives, as well as the Arcade Mode. Worth checking out if you like arcade-inspired games like Donut Dodo - this was a nice way to start off the year!
A fun little old-school arcade platformer, but without old-school difficulties. The controls are super smooth, the GFX are a joy to watch in squashy-cutesy way. Music is good. Plenty of levels to play but short enough for a drop in-out game if you want. Th difficulty curve is well placed and there are post completion challenges to offer more replay as well (and frustration) Overall feels really polished which I think will be its biggest selling/playing point. ** quick note ** my short playtime on this is because game time is really short; not in a bad way, in a "casual" way (for lack of a better word), but I have completed this game in 2hrs - it just doesn't feel like it.
Great arcade style game from a solo developer. Uses mechanics from multiple games and is brought together into one stylish package. Perfect to pickup and play a few rounds. Multiple difficulty settings and challenging achievements keep you coming back for more. Can't wait to see what this developer is going to do next!
good old school arcade game
Great arcade style game! Simple platformer, easy to pick up, multiple difficulties, integrated randomizer, challenges and even a speedrun mode! The game also has a lot of room to try new strategies, power usage and movement pattern to get a better time and make your way on the leaderboard if that's your thing! And don't forget to enjoy the great soundtrack!
Lot of fun and lot of content for its price
I really love single screen arcade platformers from the 80s, and as such had been following the development of Goliath Depot and anticipating its release for some time. Besides the great attention to detail and overall polish, it's a really fun game that I highly recommend to all fans of the genre. Newcomers will enjoy it too, as the difficulty scales nicely making the game accessible for all!
