Picked this up after hearing some good things about it, and glad I did! Enjoyable little platformer, which combines the door slams from Hotel Mario with a very arcade-y esthetic. Music's really good, and I especially liked the variation in the level design, with various gameplay elements introduced throughout in a very organic way. I can see myself return to complete the world objectives, as well as the Arcade Mode. Worth checking out if you like arcade-inspired games like Donut Dodo - this was a nice way to start off the year!
It's a classic arcade game that really captures the feeling of what you probably would have found at an arcade in the late 80s/mid 90s. Great graphics, good gameplay loop, and really just a fun game to play. Playing through the story will probably take you about 30 minutes depending on how well you play. There's plenty to do after that though!

I really love single screen arcade platformers from the 80s, and as such had been following the development of Goliath Depot and anticipating its release for some time. Besides the great attention to detail and overall polish, it's a really fun game that I highly recommend to all fans of the genre. Newcomers will enjoy it too, as the difficulty scales nicely making the game accessible for all!
Goliath Depot is how you make a modern retro game! It may be inspired by a game from the 80's and have subtle nods to other classics but it adds its own spin to it all and becomes its own unique game. It combines the look from the past but with tight modern controls. I did die a lot (because, although I love these style games I really suck at them) but the deaths were generally my fault and fair rather than cheap, a problem of a lot of games from the early 80's had. I did get stuck on the second zone for a while but once I 'got good' and unlocked the double jump managed to complete the game. I look forward to trying out the unlocked elements and grabbing a friend to play it as a 2 player game. If you want to dip your toe into the world of retro gaming or are a seasoned veteran then Goliath Depot is a great game to add to your collection.
I don't really see much wrong with the game, but I personally don't like it. I find it more frustrating than it is fun. I also got Annalynn at the same time I got this game and that game is right up my alley, I'll put a whole bunch of quarters into that one. But I still recommend because everyone needs more arcade style games in their libraries, it's a well made game, and it's got co-op! Just not my style of arcade fun. Peace
Jeu SUPER addictif ! Je le conseil a tout le monde j'ai de la misere a arreter quand je commence je veux toujours essayer de faire mieux ! GREAT JOB !!!
Bring me back to old school arcade, great game, I even played it on arcade stick and works well!
Excellent jeu addictif, l'évolution de la difficulté est vraiment bien intégré, la trame sonore et les sfx sont de qualité élevé. La re jouabilité est exemplaire, merci pour ce bijou Vidvad Games.
This is a really neat arcade game that can get deceptively hard at times. There are leaderboards for both score attacks and speedrun times, plus there are achievements for no deaths, pacifist runs, and collecting all of the coins in each level. The 10th stage in every world has a boss and they are fit the flow of the game really well. If you love arcade games, or if you are a big fan of closing door for some reason, you need to check this one out!
