About
Golemworks is an experimental fusion of tower defense and factory builder. You must assemble a factory that generates an army of automatons. These automatons automatically fight and defend your golem foundry from waves of encroaching shadows.
Molds activate on a cooldown, and generate a golem core - the 'recipe' for an automaton.
Catalysts are the production infrastructure. They can add levels, add elemental attributes, or otherwise alter a core
Survival will hinge on your ability to optimize the strength of your golem army. Good luck.

The game is great fun for casual play. Sadly, it's not suitable if you want to play more seriously. Not because the mechanics don't support it, they absolutely do and have a lot of potential. What holds the game back are issues with the UI. While the tooltips not explaining every single detail perfectly is fine, The combination of the pixel graphics, small things with even smaller numbers moving around the factory, and not being able to pause to take a closer look and check whether things work the way you thought they do.

It hooks you surprisingly quickly. You play one round, you die, you close the game... you open it again (sometimes immediately) and play another... and another.
the golem bit me
Very fun to figure out combos and upgrade priorities but also quite challenging! Recommended if you like resource managment and strategy and don't mind having to learn and experiment for a while before getting good.
It's a fun time! There is a lot more depth than it may appear in the tutorial.
Looking forward to further development !
A sharper learning curve than you would think at first, but so good once you figure it out. Then Frustrating when you dont get what you want.
Pretty fun game, but the lack of feedback on what is actually going wrong when you start losing a wave combined with no quick save/resume and over an hour per run, it's going to be a soft pass from me.
