ABRACA - Imagic Games

Since i see no really usefull reviewers, I decided to give you guys one. This is actually a really good party game, but ONLY a party game! This game is probably one of the best Local games out there. I don't know how the heck the others managed to rate this game after playing for like 20 minutes, but think i tried it enough to give it a rating. There are three modes: Race, Arena and Challenge mode. The race mode is 2-4 player. This the mode that makes the game shine. You have to get through 9 stages before the others, and in every round, the chosen one has to go as far as possible within 60 seconds. While the chosen ones struggles to get through the stage, he have to escape from monsters which is controlled by 1-3 local opponents. (NO BOTS. ONLY THE OTHER LOCAL PLAYERS) On their way to comleting each stage, he/she have to escape the opponents either by avoiding them or beating them to move on. Every character gets a chance every round to be the chosen one, who has to go through the stages. If you are lucky and good then you might go through 3 stages within 60 seconds. And if you are unlucky then you might stay in the same stage until the next round. After every round the first chosen one is being chosen by a battle between friends (works like smash bros). The one who is finishing and beating the stage 9 boss the first will win the game. The arena mode works like smash. But there's no strong attack and it's not about getting each other off the map. The arena mode depends on what the actual task is of that specific Arena mode. One of the tasks is to collect coins and beat them out of each other and put them into a golden chest full of coins, there's also the standard ones like Survival Mode where you have to be the last one standing the map. Challenge mode (single player): This mode is just about small challenges like hitting a few targets before the time is over. There's three kinds of Challenge modes, but they all have the same principle, which is to make you understand and be better at playing the game. Don't buy the game if you are only thinking of playing Challenge mode. Pros: + Insanely fun Local Co-op game. + Each character has their own unique skills and playstyle + You should be good to go as long as you know how to play super mario. + Can play with family and friends. Cons: - no bots - no online mutiplayer - no singleplayer mode except for the challenge mode - if you are playing against your girlfriend, then you might have to act like a noob if she sucks. lol

Underneath the cutesy graphics lies a game that actually takes skill to play. Abraca really is the perfect party game. Think of it as a little bit of a mix between Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party. Then, be a little forgiving, as the creators neither had the budget of those two AAA games, nor the price tag. Each player controls both a prince, and a princess, but not at the same time. Each princess is placed in a giant box, and each prince races for the key to open the box and free his princess. You progress through a series of challenges as far as you can on your turn, with the other three players taking control of the defenders in the level. As the prince, your goal is to pass as many stages as possible, as the defenders your goal is to send the prince to the start of the stage as many times as possible, and as a princess your goal is generally to smash the other princesses so you can blow kisses to your prince through the lock-hole of the chest. There is enough content to keep the game fun for a long time. There is a race mode, which bears resemblence to Mario Party, and is the one I've detailed above, an arena mode, and chalenges for defenders, princes, and princesses. If you get tired of races, you can duke it out in the arena playing one of five game modes: Gingerbread, Crown, Money Pot, Free for All, and Survival. Each princess fight is rather short, so you end up playing many of them and it keeps track of how many each player has won. It shines beautifully with four living people sitting in the same room with controllers. It is a great family game, I play it with my wife (it's the only game she'll ask to play), and my younger siblings when I go home to visit. It was never intended for a lone player. There is a chalenge mode which is just like the Super Smash Bro's Melee target challenges, but to enjoy the game you need friends or family members to convince to play. It's worth the price if you have people to play it with. Abraca is a well done, cheap, and engaging party game.

Played this game today for the first time with my two nephews. We had a lot of fun until the game decided to crash after 30 minutes, near the end of the first castle, just when I was winning. Restarted the game, only to discover that it has no save function, so you would have to restart all over. Unacceptable for a party game. Checked the steam forums, one other complaint about a crashing game, one other complaint about a gamebreaking bug that causes a player to not respawn. No response at all from the developer, so I'm gonna refund this one.

Great visuals and gameplay. This game may look like a fairy tale, but i'ts a really cool nightmare !!! The perfect party game to make friends. Or enemies. Seriously, play it, play it now !

This is an unfair review as I did not play the game. Why? I have 5 PlayStation 4 controllers but it seems that they are not compatible. This game looks great and I was really excited to play it but I do not want to buy 4 xbox controllers for this one game. I hope that this can be fixed. Sorry for the thumbs down but I have bought a game that I cannot play at the moment.

特别有意思的游戏，勇士比赛拯救自己的公主，公主们相互撕逼给勇士挣生命值。可惜只能和4人单机，如果能够远程联机就完美了！

Amazing and fun party game! It's like a mix of Crawl, Smash, and Castle Crashers. I just wish there were unlockable costumes, levels, or characters to incentivize continued play. I would really love to see new charcters or costumes! :) You are doing an amazing job so far!

Haben das Spiel grad zu viert gespielt! Wenn man erstmal die Grundmechaniken des Spiels verstanden und vor allen Dingen die Steuerung (fast jeder Knopf auf dem Gamepad hat eine Bedeutung) verinnerlicht hat, mache es ne Menge Spaß! Zwar gibt es keinen Online-Modus, aber da bei unseren Kinds sowieso fast jeden Tag Besuch da ist, vermissen wir den nicht! Das Spiel wurde auch für die Switch angekündigt, das stellte sich jedoch LEIDER als ein Aprilschwerz rauß wobei das Spiel dafür perfekt geeignet wäre! Also, lieber Entwickler, bringt das Teil auf die Switch und ich kaufe es nochmal! :) Kurz zur Mechanik: Das Spielprinzip ist toll, einer spielt den Helden und die anderen 3 Mitspieler die Bösewichter - das wechselt sich dann immer ab bis einer der Helden den Dungeon als erster geschafft hat!

RESUMEN: Lo recomiendo encarecidamente para multijugador LOCAL con amig@s parejas o lo que querais, pero con alguien, modo de juego muy bueno, original que solo unos pocos titulos han decidido potenciar, donde os vais a partir a carcajadas, personajes desenfadados que se parten el alma para lograr su objetivo ROMPER TU AMISTAD CON LOS QUE JUEGAS. (Mejor en oferta :)). Perfecto para partys y quedadas de juego. LO DEMAS: ABRACA una apuesta muy divertida ( aunque algo arquetípica, por lo del principe rescatando a la princesa ), con un fuerte peso en el multijugador LOCAL. Pillate una tarde, unos novi@s, amig@s y empieza a disfrutar de lo que este titulo puede ofrecerte. Sin duda llega a todos. Un concepto de juego muy interesante donde cada principe y princesa tiene su rol. Las princesas lucharan entre si en una arena, mientras los principes correran a salvarlas. PERO TUS AMIG@S SERAN TUS ENEMIGOS, no solo en la arena de las princesas que es obvio, si no en el recorrido de los principes y creo que aqui el juego goza de esa originalidad que solo algunos titulos han decidido potenciar. Cuando le toca a un principe amigo, los demas sois fantasmas ( que pueden poner caritas, eso es un puntazo ! ), que poseeran enemigos y trampas para fastidiar el recorrido del principe. Con un diseño muy divertido, unos buenos graficos desenfadados y detalles que se agradecen. El factor multijugador local es sin duda su punto fuerte. No es un juego que recomiende para jugar solo. No os arrepentires de usarlo en una quedada o fiesta de juegos. Un saludo comunidad ! ( tengo pocas horas por que lo probe en la quedada que se dio el caso, por eso).
