-TRY THE DEMO- and see if you like it.. Fun TD game but not for most.. If you are allergic to grinding, keep walking; this isn't for you.. BUT if you worship Deities of Grind (I'm looking at you TD games player) this one is up there,, Despite the steep and slow progress, the concept is kinda unique.. Pray hard to RNG god, hoping RNG doesn't ruin your run.. Grind fest/10 Edit: Changing my stance on this. I played in 4x speed and still have to wait for the flying enemies to make laps before it's within range of the tower that can take them out. Keep in my I maxed all available tower but one. and there is A to B to C then A B C combined to make D, for D to be swapped into something else. good lord. I'll see the end of it, might take a while though.
Addictingly fun with good mechanics that scratch that tower defense itch.
This is good game
Don't do it.
fun game similar to rogue tower but with more depth
First of all, building your towers two spaces away from any road seems to guarantee avoiding corruption. With that out of the way, if you've exhausted the demo during work hours, as I have, and you're wondering if the game itself will be much better, it certainly is. And I enjoyed the demo very much. There are a lot of options and unlockables here, and the gameplay has more bite to it. I was considering Rogue Tower over this, but paying close attention to the reviews and the grievances that seem to permeate a generally favorable consensus, Gods of Defense actually seems like the more professionally made game of the two.
This game has a major bug where you cant move forward with the game. Here is a responce from perplexity researching the issue. This issue appears to be a game-breaking glitch where the greed counter never increases, the portal remains open with no creatures exiting, and progression to the next level is blocked. Other players have reported similar bugs in the "God of War" series, especially involving portals or gateways failing to spawn enemies, or counters not increasing as intended—leaving them stuck and unable to proceed. very bad bug.
What a joke.Get thru the first 2 levels.3rd level is just impossible. After about 8 attempts, decided to do the very first level again to build up resources in order to improve stats for another attempt at level 3. Should be easy right? After about the 15th wave got 3 super curse in a row.First one I was able to pick between 3 options, second 2 were 3 options, but ONLY ONE had the accept button.BOTH were Earthquake on 3 squares all towers destroyed.Went from 22 towers down to 8.Lost 8 out of 11 gold mines. Next wave completely wiped out as though I had no towers at all.WTF seriously? Someone needs to go into the program and say "ok no 2 same super curses being forced upon you back to back. EDIT noticed its called a "certain curse" so they do this on purpose to waste your time. If you are going to make your game that heavily reliant upon RNG at least make it so Im not wasting too much time. EDIT: So I thought maybe I just got super unlucky, let's try level ONE again.Get to about wave 16, I have 8/10 health for the temple, get certain curse "lose 10 health" Temple destroyed, run over NO REWARD. So the purpose of this game is to just waste your time. UNINSTALL
While a decades-long fan of tower defense, I simply do not see what makes this game unique, interesting or anything that makes one play it. There is nothing new here, and it all feels like a project for a gifted high-school student than a product for a whopping €15. Refunded.
Un très bon TD, bonne rejouabilité avec un challenge bien dosé
