Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Petit jeu sympathique.
Bugged like 4 times in 30 minutes. Hardly playable. Recommended if you like falling into black infinity over and over
God’s Basement is a psychological horror walking simulator that thrives on atmosphere and storytelling rather than standout visuals or innovative mechanics. The environments—primarily cycling between a basic office and a nondescript house—are functional but lack distinctive art direction, giving the game a somewhat plain look. Don’t expect any visual surprises or memorable setpieces; instead, the game relies on an oppressive, unnerving mood that is consistent throughout the short two-hour experience. The story is undoubtedly the game’s strongest suit. While it starts slowly and may initially feel like a generic afterlife thriller, it builds nicely, with the ending delivering a punch that retroactively makes the earlier tedium feel worthwhile. If you’re in it for narrative payoff and enjoy piecing together a mysterious plot, there’s genuine satisfaction to be found by the time the credits roll. In terms of gameplay, God's Basement sits squarely in the “walking sim with puzzles” camp, but the puzzles themselves are more like arbitrary roadblocks. The lack of clear direction can be quite frustrating: progression often requires staring at specific items or waiting silently for triggers with little to no guidance. Thankfully, there’s a built-in hint system in the menu, which many players will likely rely on to avoid aimless wandering. On the audio front, the experience is serviceable but unremarkable. The ambient sound is enough to keep the tension up, but nothing stands out. The Operator, who narrates much of your journey, sometimes overstays his welcome, rambling past the point of narrative necessity and threatening to pull you out of the experience. Pacing can be an issue. The game recycles locations frequently, and some sequences feel padded—one notorious example involves moving dozens of boxes back and forth, which quickly devolves into mindless busywork. Technical issues have also been reported, with some players encountering bugs and crashes soon after starting. God’s Basement shines in brief moments of well-executed horror and an ultimately rewarding narrative. However, its middling visuals, unremarkable audio, frustrating progression design, and occasional technical hiccups may try your patience. If you’re drawn to unsettling stories and can stomach some tedium, there’s something to appreciate here. For those looking for a more polished or engaging horror experience, this might not quite hit the mark, especially at its current price point.

Good premise, horrible execution. No sense of what do i do next (I know there are hints) and i fell though the map.
Ok, I saw somewhere in the reviews that it gets a bit tedious going through the same locations over and over trying to find what the game wants you to find and waiting out the allotted time, and while that is true, thankfully there are hints, so it's not that big of a deal. Watched the playthrough a while ago on youtube and haved loved it ever since but have completely forgotten about it. Recently remembered and bought. Despite the flaws, it's totally worth it for the story. The story and the pacing are great, truly. Tediousness aside, I enjoyed it. Totally recommend. Good job dev!
прекрасная игра но как мы знаем такие шедевры остаются позади всем рекомендую пройти страшная история подвергающая в ужас с 1 30-40 минут, игра страшна точно не из за скримеров а из за обстоновки безысходности большой лайк игре
Very good little horror game. Great ambiance and good pacing. Really enjoyed it. Thank you.
