Are you ready to learn words that even google cant find? If yes, then this is the game for YOU! Be sure to eat something before starting the game, some would like to be wined and dined before they get F-ed!
The interface is way too laggy. Doesn't work with a game where you have to type fast.
FAHHHH. Good Game
Unlike most typing 'games' this is actually a game, with ok graphics, a progression system, etc. Unfortunately it is more about scrabble, finding words from a list of words than raw typing speed - although that is also relevant in some modes. If you like typing games and scrabble type word games this is fun+fine.
If you like word games that enable you to purchase power-ups with in game currency and don't mind being timed, this is a great deal.
I've owned this game for like 6 years and have tried playing it multiple times but every time got very annoyed at having to wait for the timer to countdown once I hit the required number of points on a level. On multiple occasions with the larger / boss-type battles, I'd be sitting here with a 5-8+ minute countdown, even without leveling any of the time stuff up. I originally wrote a review very annoyed because this was making the entire experience SUPER unenjoyable for me, but lol the devs replied super quickly & let me know there actually IS a skip function, so that is absolutely on me. They also let me know there's a difficulty adjuster which I also didn't know existed and would've definitely helped make this more challenging for me. I would highly recommend they add an in-game book/menu type thing that tells you this stuff that's accessible from the levels/map, and also explains different things I had trouble figuring out/remembering: what the different tiles/colors meant, what the specific rules were to defeat the bosses, etc. There are sometimes pop ups for these but like with the bosses, after the first initial pop up, it didn't tell me stuff again and sometimes I forgot or missed it & it'd have been nice to be able to refer to them again somehow. Hopefully the review at least helps if anyone else has trouble with these functions! But thanks to the devs for the reply & helping me out, I do like the game itself and would've finished it much sooner if this stuff hadn't eluded me!
