When this game won Game of the Year in 2018 over Red Dead Redemption 2, I honestly didn't think it deserved it. 8 years later, I finally gave it a chance, and I couldn't have been more wrong. This game completely changed my opinion. The story, gameplay, characters, and overall experience were incredible. It's easily one of the best games I've ever played and without a doubt deserves a spot in my Top 5 of all time.
Very nice game. 9/10. The starting of the game was simply epic. It set ups the mood of the game and the tone of the game. The story is also very good. We can feel the chemistry between Atreus and Kratos. The ending of the game was also very good. The last battle was epic and the emotions it carried was also good. The bond between characters felt touching. The game is indeed very good but it has flaws. The major flaw I felt was that in the middle of the game many time I fought with same bosses which felt repetitive. Like the one with rock, he just attacks with its big rock and legs. It was 6-7 times in the game with slightly different attribute. And the ice monster too it throw ice from middle. He also appeared 3-4 times. It makes the game a bit repetiting. If there were new and cool bosses everytime it would have been great. Plus there is a slow pace in middle of the game. Except these things the game is good. And I forgot to say one thing. I am the GHOST OF SPARTA.
GOD OF WAR Score: 10/10 "We win because we are determined. Disciplined. Not because we feel ourselves superior" -Kratos Gameplay: 10/10 Art: 9/10 Music: 9/10 Experience: 9/10 Story: 10/10 God Of War masterfully combines beautiful storytelling and awesome combat. Norse mythology is so cool and the way the game portrays the gods and characters is above anything else. There is a reason God Of War won GOTY 2018 over RDR2.
The relationship between Kratos and Atreus is one of the main reasons this game is just so amazing. Something about Kratos from the original trilogy becoming a Dad is just so wholesome. I remember watching my father playing the original games when I was a kid, so naturally when
Kratos brought out the chaos blades
I lost my ♥♥♥♥. I also really like how they're adding Gods from other cultures into the games rather then just the Greek Gods. This game was simply so amazing, so amazing that I bought God of War Ragnarok from the Steam sale. Highly recommend.
i dont care about side quest just like kratos btw a bit heavy for my pc build
Bodrio, no lo jueguen
very fun
Best story game in a while Tip: Don't use the manual lock on key in combat, the automatic tracking works much better than in games like Fallen Order and don't get too lost in trying to fully upgrade your gear, even during the late game you can find new stuff that works better
