This company is responsible for One Punch Man Season 3. And should not be trusted with your time or money.
Despite being barely over minimum specs, at 1080p she runs fine and hits 30fps which is minimum reuquirement. ususally hits over actually in areas like the mum.
The story couldve been lengthened throughout different ranks to give the story better pacing and time to breathe. Game relied too much on Phyms involvement in the story as well, heavily. Fighting aragami didnt even feel fun and I think a large part of that was because the story pivoted into the politics of the world and not into the aragami or how much of a threat they were to the God Eaters. It really felt like an afterthought to fight them because the NPC's could either solo them or there were not enough aragami at once to really call it something worth preserving resources over even in later missions. The solo missions do make for a good challenge but people still want to solo with friends. I liked the way I was introduced to the game. Me and Hugo climbing up from being AGEs hounds together. That brotherhood in a cruel world that treated AGEs like disposable human weapons was what invested me in the story. But after the AGEs boarded the Chrysanthymum and started working for Hilda which happened way too soon in the story, my reason for caring for the story died with it. After Phym was introduced, it became about protecting her and the AGEs protecting their new way of life at all costs. Not surviving the newest aragami onslaught. Hell the aragami are practically cannon fodder even to the AGEs as characters in the story and theres no point in the story where the aragami are seen as a legitimate threat to anyones life. Especially with Phym around and the game makes no effort to remove her from the story. I did not care for the political situation of the world either. I would've enjoyed the story if it stayed about the AGEs who you start the story with and was about how life is as an AGE for the first few ranks since I dont know much about life as an AGE or how really terrible it is. Give me time to hate the bastards who treat the AGEs like garbage and make the difficulty of missions reflect how little these people really care for an AGEs's life. Make it so hard that some missions youre interrupted by an Ash Storm post mission and you have to bail or you can only fight them to a certain extent of their life and a cutscene happens where the aragami beats the everloving Jesus out of them or have the officers who are supposed to oversee them talk trash about how long they take to accomplish missions and how worthless they are in more detail. Have them sabatoge the AGEs's missions so that I can understand why the AGEs feel the need to leave. Taking valuable materials or money they need to help the AGE's children wouldve also helped since that boy was already sick in the story and needed a medical kit. I loved some of the weapon and clothing designs. A fun part of the game was window shopping the newest clothing and weapons. Wouldve been nice to have more clothing options but it did its job. The weapons I liked with how some of them looked like they were used to kill something and there were new additions to them not just brought from previous games. The way they were displayed did suck since I couldnt sort them myself. It was really annoying having to look at their prices to see which ones carried more base damage because they were mixed in such a messy way. Hated being in the shields section as well cause although you can just go by Tower Shields and then have a look to make things easier, Im lazy so I typically just go by All and have look through my weapons like that. There used to be a description by each shield that said what kind of shield it was. That was much better than this. Mixing different burst arts was also sick. That satisfying thrill of staggering an aragami or breaking bonds quickly was nice but more shouldve been done to the aragami to say these are not the typical aragami that existed in GE1 and 2. Chi You's maybe being able to sprout two more of those arm wings and have its attacks completely change to maybe taking on a form reminiscent of a Sekhmet or Raven depending on the mission. Same with other aragami from previous iterations of the game. New game+ sucks as well although I didnt get through much of it. Im at rank three but I so dread the fact that I have to pretend that Im playing the game for the first time just with all my materials and stuff. Reason being that parts in between the story where you have to spend looking for the next sorry bum to talk to within three floors and the front desk not telling me who I have to talk to makes finding the person more of a mission that the missions itself. Would recommend for people not familiar to the previous GE games. Early missons are easy and does its job settling new players into the mechanics of the game since the control scheme is different from previous games. For people who dont care about the lore of the previous two games, this is for you. The only part you will hate that hasnt changed is running around looking for who to talk to. Its not always a given of who you will still need to talk to to progress the story so have fun looking for the next lonely bum who needs to lore dump on you. Good game even though the reason I loved it in the other iterations got lost in translation with this one.
