Years have passed, decades maybe. Little goblin moved on, all but forgot about the great coin trouble, not even realizing that a new trouble is awaiting behind the doors!

Really nice old school platformer reminding me of a nicer time and games when I was a wee lad. Controls are simple and responsive and levels are nicely thought out and designed. There are some pixel perfect jumps to be made without the double jump power up that can be irritating, but you get enough coins pretty quickly. One issue I had was that achievements weren't working until I started a new game for a second time. Went through first ten levels so far and hopefully the challenge will increase from now on as I'm craving that goblins'n'ghoul platforming.
A retro platformer with basic mechanics. There are over 30 levels that you beat and unlock one by one, all with varying lengths and difficulty. Most of them are straightforward. On the more complex and open ones, you can easily get lost on your first run, as it's usually not obvious where to go. Some coins are locked behind abilities that you can buy in the shop, so to gather every coin, you need to first buy some upgrades. It's tagged as a difficult game, but to be honest, it didn't feel like one: there is no permadeath, boss fights are easy, and there are only a few challenging moments, which are easy to learn because the opponent's AI is very simple and predictable.
Goblins and Coins is an addictive adventure that I would recommend for someone looking for a fun, easy to play game. I am a beginner player so the game is challenging but not too difficult, so far. The graphic is cute and colorful, like in those old games I've played with my brother. I am really glad my boyfriend recommended this game to me.
