Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

First of all: it's really beautiful and a very relaxing game. As with the first of the series I still wish you could zoom out in the world overview to see your level progress and find new ones to play, that's a bit annoying honestly but it doesn't impair the actual gameplay in any way, so whatever. Second: after switching computers I had a terrible bug that prevented the game from actually starting. I tried all I could think of but couldn't solve the problem, so I asked in the discussions board (under bug reports) and got quite a prompt answer from the devs. After some back and forth (that took some time of course) it got finally solved and I'm able to play again without issues! Clear recommendation from me to everyone who likes the visual style (cause that's the best part of the game). Edit: I think I should clarify the bug was not with the game itself but the Unity engine - and as I said the support was quick and successful!

Glass Masquerade 2 is a relaxing and genuinely fun puzzle game. The stained glass artwork is beautiful, and every completed puzzle feels rewarding. The soundtrack creates a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to lose track of time. The difficulty is balanced, offering a satisfying challenge without becoming frustrating.
the art sure is .... something. most of the time you don't know what the hell the final picture's supposed to be. this afternoon i started a new puzzle in hard mode. half an hour later, realized the beautiful stained glass image was depicting three crazy evil cockroaches wearing pirate hats. i much prefer the first game's theme lol
Puzzles with a beautiful stained-glass aesthetic
Just like the first Glass Masquerade, the sequel mostly delivers more of the same but with a fresh set of new puzzles and more intricate designs. Some of the puzzles are definitely more challenging this time around, requiring a bit more patience to complete. While I still enjoyed it overall, I didn’t find it quite as captivating as the first game. With that said, the presentation remains gorgeous with it's beautiful stained-glass art style. It is colorful, and relaxing to look at throughout the entire experience. Graphics are pretty. Glass is shiny. Life is good.
Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions, developed and published by Onyx Lute, is a puzzle game that leans fully into atmosphere and artistry, offering a calm, almost meditative experience built around stained-glass jigsaw assembly. Rather than trying to reinvent puzzle mechanics, it refines a very specific idea—reconstructing fragmented circular artworks—and elevates it through presentation, mood, and subtle complexity. The result is a game that feels less like a challenge-driven puzzle title and more like a quiet, interactive gallery of surreal imagery. The gameplay itself is simple in structure but surprisingly demanding in execution. Each puzzle is composed of irregularly shaped shards that must be fitted together to complete a circular stained-glass design. There are no traditional edges or clearly defined borders to guide the process, which means players must rely on color gradients, patterns, and intuition to determine where pieces belong. Early puzzles ease players into this approach, but later ones become more intricate, with shapes that are harder to distinguish and compositions that are deliberately ambiguous. The optional difficulty settings add flexibility, allowing players to choose whether pieces rotate automatically or require manual adjustment, which can significantly increase the level of challenge. What truly defines the experience is the visual design. Each completed puzzle reveals a detailed stained-glass illustration that often leans into dreamlike or symbolic imagery. The themes feel abstract and open to interpretation, giving the game a slightly mysterious tone. Instead of presenting clear, literal scenes, the artwork invites players to interpret shapes and figures as they come together, creating a sense of discovery that goes beyond simply finishing a puzzle. The act of assembling each image feels like uncovering something hidden rather than just solving a mechanical problem. The audio design complements this approach with a soft, ambient soundtrack that encourages a slow and relaxed pace. The music is subtle and unobtrusive, allowing players to focus without distraction while still enhancing the overall mood. Combined with the gentle pacing of the gameplay, it creates an experience that is easy to settle into for extended periods. However, this subdued tone can also make the game feel somewhat monotonous during longer sessions, particularly for players who prefer more dynamic or varied audio. In terms of structure, the game presents a series of puzzles that gradually increase in difficulty, but it does not significantly expand its mechanics beyond this progression. Each new piece introduces a different visual theme, yet the underlying interaction remains the same throughout. This consistency helps maintain a cohesive identity, but it also means that the experience can begin to feel repetitive once the core concept has been fully understood. There are no major gameplay twists or additional systems introduced to break up the loop, so the appeal rests almost entirely on the enjoyment of the puzzle-solving process itself. The narrative element is minimal and largely symbolic, offering brief hints of a dreamlike journey without fully developing into a structured story. It serves more as a thematic backdrop than a central feature, reinforcing the abstract tone rather than guiding the player through a defined narrative arc. For some, this ambiguity adds to the charm; for others, it may feel like a missed opportunity for deeper engagement. Replayability is limited, as the puzzles do not change once completed, and there are few incentives to revisit them beyond personal enjoyment or improving completion speed. The game is clearly designed as a contained experience, meant to be appreciated in a relaxed setting rather than revisited repeatedly. This makes it well-suited for shorter sessions or as a way to unwind, but less effective as a long-term time investment. Ultimately, Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions succeeds by focusing on what it does best: delivering a visually striking and calming puzzle experience. It does not aim to challenge genre conventions or provide extensive variety, but instead offers a polished and cohesive interpretation of a single idea. For players who enjoy jigsaw-style puzzles and appreciate artistic presentation, it provides a satisfying and tranquil experience, even if its limited scope prevents it from leaving a deeper or more lasting impact.
