After the recent 2.0 launch I would highly recommend the game. The combat is smooth and more in-depth, performance is great and the developer is working with the community to add to the game! New enemy types have been included as well as the ability to modify how the survival-wave system works, so you can fight hoards of enemies or a 1v1 against up to 100 sequential NPCs.
As it stands at this point, I would not say this game is worth getting. First, there are only two resolution settings: 1280x720 and 1920x1080. While the gore and dismemberment system is solid and delivers well in terms of response, the combat system is very much a jankier version of what is already on offer in Mount and Blade. It makes use of directional attacks, but where Mount and Blade uses animations to let you know when your weapon has cooled down, and is responsive to mouse movement, this game gives you a loading circle to show when you can attack again, and requires large mouse movement for effective attacks. This sounds alright in theory, but is infuriatingly slow and counterintuitive in practice. I appreciate it for what it attempts, but I feel that at this point, it is more of a proof of concept than a full on game, which leads me to ask why it was sold in the first place. I understand that it is a first attempt, and I do see glimmers of potential here. The dismemberment system is satisfying. But it cannot carry the whole game, nor should it. Your money is better spent on Warband at this point in time.
While limited in content (which is no problem imo), Gladio is a sufficiently fun game that intoxicates player with a devilishly simple concept that will have you saying 'Just one more time' over and over again. The controls are difficult to pickup, but that's the fun of it. Soon, after countless runs, you pick up how to get your swings to swing the way you want them to, and start to climb through the waves. Close to 3 dollars CDN for a fun and interesting game? Sign me up.
Fun over the top melee combat. pretty fun hard to master though

The gameplay is smooth & pleasing to play. The dismemberment is a nice touch. For its low price, this game is worth everything.
After the latest update that came out, this game is well worth the $5. The devs listen and try to implement suggestions. Being a two man team it can take a while, but the game is a fun time waster. The latest updates seems to have made gameplay smoother and better, but the best part is you can now customize how much armor you want to have and your enemies have. You can choose full armor sets or armor in different places or choose random and see what happens. The dismemberment and gore looks good in this game, game reminds me of a non-vr Gorn, but the early stages. But as I said for $5, can't complain.
Amazing game with amazing combat system.
Está muy entretenido, estoy atento a las actualizaciones.
This game (or what I've played of it) is awesome, the physics are exactly how they should be - a little wonky, but that's good because it lets you kick your enemies dozens of meters at a time. My only issue is that it's a little unoptimized. If this was more optimized I would play this game much much more often.
