Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

graphics that sometimes resembles a cool math game aside, this was a way more satisfying experience than the first game the controls are near perfect and the level design is fun and makes use of the *gimmick*s in very creative ways. very fun game, much better as an introduction to this series than the first
Gimmick! 2
☐ Loved it ☐ Liked it ☑ Not for me Weighted rating out of 5
3.02

Summary
Use a star-throwing mechanic to solve physics-based puzzles, defeat enemies, and platform through levels. Best for: Fans of precise platformers who enjoy mastering a single core mechanic. Skip if: You want gameplay variety or modern complexity.
Review
Do you wanna rerun the same obstacle every 20th second while listening to the same 10 second soundtrack loop over an over again? Then there's a game for you! All jokes aside, this game is actually alright until you try to get all the stickers and hidden chests at which point it becomes a high-precision trick-shot mess. It was never like I was unable to progress, but it surely did feel very discouraging finally overcoming a challenge just to instant die to one of those pointy obstacles on the next and have to do it all over again... And then the music. Oh, the soundtrack... Turning off the music made the game 200% better. Not because of the tracks themselves but this repetitiveness. On the more positive sides, the game performance is great. There are basically instant loads and instant start-up, making the experience feel snappy. I also adore how old school it feels, when the character is allowed to turn mid-air, and jumping up through a bunch of platforms if they're thin enough. I like that I didn't have to wind-up run speed more than on the occasional down-hill stretch. The character felt... heavy, moving very slowly, and I notice I pressed down on some of the buttons quite hard trying to make it move faster. I found this to be an odd choice. I'm not familiar with the first title in this series, so maybe it's a signature feature of the character? Although I state this game was not for me, that is largely based on the achievements and repetitiveness. I still appreciated the game as such and if you can pick it up on sale it's a solid recommend.
The level design in this game is phenomenal. The art style is great. This is a top tier 2D platformer
The green cousin of Kirby is not as fun and forces you to do tedious puzzles all the time.
if you love platformers you'll enjoy this one. i had a lovely time play it 💚
