This game is excellent. The world building is astounding and each character is unique. I even found myself loving all side characters. Each route is different and unique but all of them are wonderful. I have played all the routs and loved them all. though Lance will always have a special place in my heart. lol. I would definitely recommend this game.
The story and art are pretty good, but there are just too many explanations about this world that make it a bit boring. I feel like some of the descriptions aren't really needed. For example, in Ari's route, the whole point of mentioning the mc's siblings is to show how much she cares about her family and how messed up the city is. This is just my suggestion, but I think cutting out some of these sentences could make the story easier to read without messing with the main plot.
This is so boring and so poorly written and sucks so much i have no idea why it costs money. Don't even try it.
This is probably one of the best, deepest, most intricate vns I've ever played. For context, one of my other favorite VNs is "Our Life- Beginnings and Always," and while they're super different, and this is way more plot-focused, the characters feel similarly like "real people" and you just can't help but want to get to know them. I think this is set up extremely optimally- each route will give you a deeper look at the world while feeling completely different. I couldn't wait to experience each route and find out even more about what was going on. Normally, I'm a little leery of the "each route is a separate experience" thing because it feels like I have to be someone completely different in each, and it can feel super disconnected, but that totally wasn't the case here. (And there are plot tie-ins!!! :D) Because of the underlying mysteries, the route divergence was satisfying, and I played the same personality traits for MC each time and still got the best endings for all. :D So it was this super cool blend of having an MC who is an actual person, who I can still somewhat "be" and relate to, while having delightful mysteries to uncover each time. Plus, the little shifts that had her "connecting" with each of the love interests (getting on their routes) were super interesting to think about.~ 100/10, tell your friends, let's get this game some recognition!!! <3
I love this game! I can definitely recommend this otome to everyone, even people who have played less indie titles and are therefore cautious. The writing, worldbuilding, music, story, characters, Mc, artwork, everything fits together so well. The beginning is complex at first because of the huge world (like a good book), but after that you are so addicted to it that you can hardly stop. I've played a lot of otome (Japanese & indie) and this is currently my number 1. So if you like science-fantasy, solarpunk and a mature MC and storytelling, go for it. The writing and the story are some of the best I've ever had in Otome. My recommend order for the best story flow: Ari > Jack > Caleb > Caissa > Magnus > Lance (this is where the main story ends) After stories: Quill > Ruben > Yuu
Amei demais esse jogo! Tem tudo que eu gosto: protagonista forte e determinada, universo com um lore muito bom, love interest que é interessante, ciúmes, romance bom demais e um super plus é o nome da cidade ser Braesil :)
This may be one of my favorite visual novels ever. As a trans person, I typically look for VNs that let me choose pronouns. I find that it helps me immerse myself into the story better, I usually like to imagine myself as the character when playing. However, the writing was so good I didn't care this time. The worldbuilding is the best I have ever seen from a visual novel. The characters are so lovingly written, I found myself liking all of the love interests (though I'd have to say my favorite is Lance hehe). I'm genuinely astounded by Steamberry's attention to detail, I can tell how much passion was put into this game. I'm already considering replaying through the entire thing lol. The price is definitely worth it.
One of the most detailed and creative Otome I've ever read. If you're even thinking about getting it, it is so worth it, 8 fully fleshed out routes and the romance is amazing, to say there is a lot of love interests, there is also a lot of depth and so many different branches and scenarios. Being able to design and change the personality of the MC is the cherry on top
This game really raises the bar for visual novels and otome games. The depth of world building and multi threaded plot lines is enthralling and really draws you in. The writing is well done, alittle ham-handed with the allusions but that's easily pardoned when you start getting a full visual on the world and characters. Alittle more variation in character appearances might be nice (Van and Lethe were nice breaks) but overall didn't diminish the enjoyment of the story. Really looking forward to the next one and hope to see more in this world setting.
Highly recommend this VN. Great story and characters. Wish there was more bc reading their interactions was a joy and made me scoff, sigh and laugh right along with them. The world building was amazing so much so i was thinking of ways the characters could creatively use their abilities. I loved all the routes. Really fell for Magnus outside of his route then wished I had more time with him on his. But anyways I know I will be replaying all the routes. Thank you for this great gem. I hope others find it too.
