Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered

Ghostbusters The Videogame is a fun and phenomenal power fantasy TPS lovingly developed by Terminal Reality back in the gold old days of 2009. A love letter to the franchise filled with little details and the most concise and faithful sequel to the original films. You'll catch ghosts with the original cast using a deceptively simple arsenal and have a blast and a chuckle doing so in what is objectively the greatest Ghostbusters videogame of all time. That being said this is a goat rodeo of a "Remaster". The liighting looks a little better and being able to play the game in a 120 fps (as opposed to the 30 on Xbox) is nice but they forgot the multiplayer and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the sound in a way I've never seen before. The game rips itself apart desyncing during the cutscenes unless you change the frequency of your audio device output on your PC. Never in my life dude. I own like 500 plus games on this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PC not counting abandonware and emulators and Doom WADs and NEVER have I had to do that ♥♥♥♥ before or since. On top of that ♥♥♥♥ the menus are seemingly permalocked to 30fps and the mentioned 120 fps can only be accessed if you turn off the 30hz limiter and the 60hz limiters in the main menu visual options. Then 120 fps is on but the game won't tell you. Which you'll have to do every time you boot the game because it refuses to save your visual option changes except for resolution. I wish I could give this a "mixed" review but the core game is a good time and worth a run for any fan of the franchise. Luckily you can also fix the issues I mentioned (and restore the cut, copyrighted visual textures) with mods. Get it on a sale and enjoy.

Great game but the price for it is too much Gameplay is pretty fun but turns boring around the end Upgrades are kinda good [spoiler]the weapons are great but the ice one and the final one you get are very underused[/spoiler] The story is just like the movies and I like to think this was going to be GHOSTBUSTERS III The achievements are quotes from the movies There many goodthings but the pke scan is so bad I dont even use it most of the time and so the achviements that need you to scan stuff are pain The game will reset settings (graphical) when reopening the game so you just waste some time turning the on or off The ai is so dumb if you dont shoot they will get stuck in a corner with 50 enemys infront of them Also the negative reviews are copy and paste which are :the remastered is just like the original.the game runs badly(changing the resoloutions never hurt anyone) And people with 0.1 or less than 8 hours are just saying 'this game doesnt remaster anything' And so on But still if its on sale you should get it if you want

Um jogaço que é melhor aproveitado depois de assistir aos primeiros filmes. Jogue como um quinto Ghostbuster sem nome, sem falas e apenas curta a vibe nostálgica do quarteto mais F0DA dos anos 90. Só senti que a melhor e mais icônica boss fight foi logo no inicio (contra o Stay-Puft). As outras ficam mais no "ok, é divertido". Joguinho curto, que não enjoa e cumpre o que promete: caçar fantasmas com muitas piadas. 10/10

i dont know if ive ever fell in love with a game as much as this one. i played ts on my dads old xbox, and this game is amazing in every single way possible. It TRULY feels like Ghostbusters 3. the story, fights, ghosts, mechaniacs were so far ahead of its time. and unfourtuantaly the last project with Harold Ramis, RIP. also, 10/10. its fully worth it.

tiene muy mala optimización y muchas caídas fps, pero sin embargo el juego es muy divertido, tiene su humor y momentos graciosos y mantiene la misma esencia y personalidad que tienen los personajes de la película.

Awesome game wish it was an open world game i tend to think games like this with a humors edge should have an open world theme like futurama or Rick and Morty anyway I think what made this game original was the combat mechanics
